Very tasty - Edit

We had the pancakes, vegadillas, cacao bowl and some smoothies/mylkshakes and it was all very good! The consistency of the cacao bowl was on point! Would definitely recommend this place!!

Good Spot - Edit

Stopped by here for lunch, and I have to say I really liked the mole. I thought it was a good balance of sweet, bitter, and spicy! It was interesting, but definitely Mexican. The Nori rolls were so tasty. I also like that they have cool drinks!

smoothie - Edit

Stopped by this place after Easter Service at a nearby church. I had a smoothie with ginger which was very good and reasonably priced (30 pesos) for a half liter. Service was quick and friendly... I wish I had the time to stay to try the food.

Pros: good price

nice vegan options, affordable - Edit

Great guacamole starter, hummus fairly good, vegan lentil burgers are nice but you must ask for some sauce to add flavour. The cappuccinos were terrible, our only criticism.

So delicious - Edit

It's a very beautiful place, cozy and with good deco. The're many options to choose from. We tried frijoles and pesto "pasta" (made with veggies). We wanted to try the bolognesa but they run out... Anyway, it was so good, amazing place!

Pros: Variety, Tasty, Location

Cons: Noise of peoplee coming to hotel rooms

Delicious! Best vegan option in Playa - Edit

We had a delicious and extremely reasonably priced meal here. Everything is vegan. Delicious fresh coconut water and Jamaica juice for drinks. Incredible guacamole! Tasty in-house tortilla chips. Ordered one of the specials made with squash and sweet potato and some fabulous tacos. Very vegetable-forward. I wish we’d had time to return so I could try more things on the menu. Service was lovely - so friendly and warm and attentive! A reminder that in México it’s generally considered rude for a waiter to bring you a check without asking for it so don’t assume it will come to you before you request it. Like many great restaurants, the food is made with love and everything is given care. This is not a place to come if you’re in a rush - savor the food, relax in the garden courtyard seating, and enjoy!

very bad - Edit

The food was very bad and the service was TOO slow. The couple next to is got their meal after us. The worst is that they arrives first. Note I picked 1 star not 2. But the app did not let me choose only one.

Great breakfasts, nice place - Edit

La Senda had a great set of options, particularly for a light meal: breakfast or lunch. We had the sweet crepe, the chilaquiles, the molletes, the cacao smoothie and the cacao bowl. I definitely recommend the cacao bowl and the smoothie, both had rich and deep flavors and were both light and filling, just like the best vegan food. Staff were nice and spoke English and there was a lot of seating.

Pros: Food, Staff, Location

not the greatest, serving size are small - Edit

The size servings are too small for what you pay. Taste is ok but not the greatest. We had chilaquiles and a cai bowl which looks like ice cream with not much fruit. I needed to ordered extra beans for the chilaquiles which cost me almost as much as the chilaquiles themselves. Prices are high for what they served and the quality of the food.

A bit disappointing - Edit

Had breakfast there and found the portions pretty small, especially the vegadillas which were just 4 small tortillas folded with their yuca cheese, and a teeny tiny cup of salsa. Chilaquiles were good, but everything was pretty bland. Maybe just made a bad choice or came on the wrong day, since most other reviews made it sound amazing. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Won’t try it again unfortunately, left still hungry and went for burgers at Marvin’s....

Pros: House made with quality ingredients, Nice service

Cons: Bland, Small portions

Great place and great people - Edit

We visited la senda various times and food and treatment was always great! Try the tacos and the sweet crepe as well as the drinks! The smoothies and juices are great and exactly what you need with the weather.

On our last day we didn't know what to do with the mex pesos as changing back to eur was not really worth it. We bought pet food and brought it to la senda asking if they knew somebody and could give it to an animal shelter etc and the guy working there keept it and said he would make sure that it was given to people helping animals :)

A great place, with great people and great food which i will miss back home!

Pros: price, quality, nice people

Cons: small place therefore sometimes no table free.

Amazing food & drinks, friendly service, central location - Edit

Visited here twice, once just for a milkshake (divine) and once for lunch. Had the Aztec torta with mole sauce and loved it, wish we were staying in Playa longer just to try the whole menu, so much choice I felt spoilt!!!

Pros: Everything!

Not enough stars here.. - Edit

Best vegan place I have been to. Fantastic foods (tried almost all the menu), amazing friendly staff, cute place. Most of the menu is gluten free (or possible to get them gluten free if you ask). Several awesome raw options. Well worth the money, good portions.

Great food, service, and ambiance - Edit

Everything about this place was great. We were told they are one of the longest running vegan places in Playa Del Carmen. We had the guacamole (chips especially are amazing), lentil burger (good but a bit plain), chilaquiles (good), pancake (super sweet), and amazing green juices. Outdoor seating and great decor.

Pros: fresh food, great staff, old school establishment

Cons: some dishes weren't super flavorful

Vegan Paradise! Outstanding food and customer service - Edit

La Senda is one of our all time favorite vegan restaurants! We have been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Their crepe "salado" is our favorite. It is like a vegan omelette made with chickpea flour and filled with veggies. I love their aqua frescas and other homemade drinks. We left Xcaret late one night and got there close to their closing time, they were nice enough to make us dinner and even made pancakes for the kids who were craving them from a previous visit.

Pros: Foods Tasted Amazing, Late Hours, Great customer service

Cons: Small
