Nice selections tasty food. - Edit
This is a good place with friendly staff and a decent menu of choices. I had the Baja Tacos and my partner a selection of 3 tacos. All were tasty and the pink tortillas was novel. Atmosphere is basic, thought it was going to be fancier than it was but, we didn’t mind that. It’s not cheap but it’s vegan so that’s the trend.

- Nachos (with chickpea chorizo): EXCELLENT vegan nachos! One of the best I’ve ever had. The full portion size was quite filling.
- Tofu Nuggets (with Chipotle tofu mayo): Good but a bit dry on its own; but my partner loved these!
- Set of 3 tacos
—Coulifor Con Requesón de Coco: VERY strong coconut flavor!
—Crudi: The best taco of this set of 3! Refreshing avocado flavor
—Camote Al Pesto: Good but not outstanding! Didn’t taste like traditional pesto but perhaps that’s because it was made from pumpkin seeds
- Hot chocolate: Watered down flavor, disappointing

Read moreI took the 3 tacos: Crudi, cauliflower and the Camote al Pesto. They were all sublime. Really interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. It is quite expensive compared to other places around the city, but their high quality definitely matches the prices. Never have I seen before on tacos ingredients such as pumpkin seed pesto, pecan cream or coconut cheese (from coconut meat!). Their innovation goes beyond the pink color.
I also had ice cream: blueberries and pumpkin. Great taste, especially the pumpkin one. Nice coconut base without being overpowering. Again, interesting and creative. Cute staff, no Spanish is no problem at all.
Edit: I visited again, this time trying the lentil soup and the Enfrijolada. The soup was great, the Enfrijolada absolutely marvelous. I'm still dreaming of that creamy beans cream. This place is a gem!

La Pitayaha Vegana is such a lovely vegan spot in Mexico City. You can really tell how much care goes into everything they make. So much of the food is done in-house, their kombucha, tortillas, buns, and even their own waffle cones, which gives the whole place a very natural feel. It’s definitely healthy, thoughtfully made food for conscious eaters.

The staff are kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, and the owner is just as warm, you can tell she’s poured her heart into this place. It’s the kind of restaurant where you just feel comfortable sitting, chatting, and taking your time.
Everything we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. The mole is especially worth trying (I've eaten it several times), it's rich and full of flavour. And don’t skip the artisanal ice cream, it’s the perfect way to end the meal or for a snack.
If you’re in Mexico City and want good vegan food in a relaxed, welcoming space, this place is 100% worth a visit!

Best Vegan Meal In CDMX - Edit
We were warmly greeted by our server Alex, she gave us recommendations which we requested because there were so many items we wanted to try. We settled on Tacos and a burrito - beautiful presentation and so delicious. The chai tea was so flavorful- the real deal. We also had a delightful conversation with the owner who shared so much information about the restaurant and the city. Everything about our visit there was exceptional. This will always be our first stop on future visits.

I visited CDMX for a week in mid-October 2025, and while I enjoyed many wonderful vegan meals at restaurants and street stands across the city, dinner at La Pitahaya Vegana was my favorite. I ordered the Enfrijoladas - creamy black bean sauce over pink tortillas filled with plantains, almonds, coconut cheese and pico de gallo (frijoles negros cremosos sobre tortillas rosas rellenas de plátanos, almendras crocantes, requesón de coco fresco, y pico de gallo), along with a refreshing hibiscus drink (agua de Jamaica). The dish was beautifully presented, delicious, and filling. The restaurant environment was charming, with the entire front open to the street, and the staff were so attentive and kind!

I can’t imagine how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars. I had Chiles en Nogada and the waffle dessert. They were both delicious and HUGE! Especially the dessert. And the presentation was beautiful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The best vegan food I had the whole week in CDMX.

Cilantro festival - Edit
This place has a nice environment and the menu had some interesting options, however, I'm allergic to cilantro and there was close to no effort to accomodate as most of the items were prepared with it. It was a shame because I was really looking forward to try it but for the first time, I walked away from a vegan restaurant. It is also very expensive, so given those prices, I was hoping for them to be a bit more flexible on prep'ing things without cilantro vs just removing important portions of the recipe (such as the pico de gallo, which is basically chopped onions and tomatoes with cilantro).

A favorite every time we visit CDMX - Edit
This place is a gem! Even though it is not a huge space, it is a great place to sit down (at an indoor or outdoor table) and be treated to a comfortable and lovely dining experience. Everyone is super nice here--on our last visit bending over backwards to get us a table when we failed to make a reservation. The food is spectacular--a favorite of ours is the enfrijolada. Every time we go we look forward to seeing Alek, who always greets us with such enthusiasm we think we are returning home!

Oh my this place was incredible!!! The food is so tasty, unique flavors and filling, looks cute and tastes great. We got half portions of the nachos and hibiscus flautas, and a three taco plate (tofu, sweet potato basil and mushroom pastor), hibiscus tea and pink lemonade. The staff is very kind, they have free wifi and take credit cards. They were fairly empty when we arrived on a Friday at 5pm but quickly filled up. Oh and bonus, they have a cutie named Greta!
