No está mal. - Edit

Great Experience - Edit
They have an extra plant-based menu, just ask for it. Great options like vegan chorizo, casserole and authentic Spanish vegetable dishes. They also have one vegan dessert.

Great vegan options and wine - Edit
Definitely get the dish with pimientos, potatoes and vegan chorizo. The spinach croquettes were also nice. But I would skip the heura bites in favor of something else.

Klare Empfehlung!

Delicious food and wine - Edit
The last review said there were limited options but when we asked we got a whole separate menu! We had an amazing time here. The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and they had a separate veggie menu with delicious vegan options. We are sad we couldn’t try everything on the menu, but tried a Syrah rosada and Verdejo wine and both the wines and food were 10/10! Would absolutely recommend!

Meal of two halves - would not recommend - Edit
Hopes were high when we saw a vegan menu and all allergens clearly labelled. Starters were lovely- patatas bravas and croquettes. But wow- I ordered the vegan burger and it was dismal. It said vegan mozerella but it was like volcanic ash. Totally inedible. If I could speak Spanish I would’ve spoken to the staff and ordered something else but unfortunately I couldn’t ! I think it was meant to be mushroom? It was grey and dry and dusty and came with an over sweet raisin sauce.

So many better options - Edit
Their vegano options are vegetarian not vegan. Vegan chorizo was soft in a bowl of oil. Gazpacho was flavorless. So many better options in town.

Poor service, long wait and poor food - Edit
I was recommended this place but was really not impressed. We sat out in the garden and there were lots of flies as there are plants and that is where the single toilet is, lots of people were using it and forming a line. The food is expensive and we waited a very long time for our order to be taken. It then took a long time for only drinks to arrive. We had the chorizo, the meatballs and the peanut 'chicken'. Food came very spaced out, I know tapas is usually like that, but this was a very long time. The chorizo was ok, but not great to eat just by itself which is what we had to do whilst waiting. The meatballs were dry, tasteless and sat in a lot of oil. The peanut chicken dish was again tasteless, the sweet potatoes were poorly cooked. It was a really bad experience. Can't believe the prices for the food. 32 euro for the three dishes!

Fantastic vegan tapas with great atmosphere - Edit
I would happily give La Odisea 5*. They had a great selection of vegan tapas on a seperate section of the menu. All of it tasted fresh and there was a mix of veges and faux meats options. The vegan chorizo was delicious whilst not trying to be a direct imitation (my partner usually doesn't like very "meat like" options and really enjoyed this also). The staff were also very friendly and patient with my broken Spanish and the restaurant itself had lots of character with a cute little outdoor, but covered, patio area at the back of the restaurant.
