Perfect!!

The restaurant has a vegan menu, the owner is really lovely. She invited me into her kitchen and explained all the process of the cooking. The food is delicious and made with love. When entering, you will notice that the door is closed, this is for safety reason. Still the restaurant is open. You can knock or scream and they will open for you😄

MUST eat here if in Quito

Wow! Would give this 5 stars if happycow allowed a restaurant that wasn't fully vegan/vegetarian to get 5 stars. The best vegan food we've had in Ecuador so far. One of the first pages on the menu is a vegan menu. What a lovely restaurant and cook/owner! She spent a significant amount of time discussing each dish with us, and makes everything by hand and fresh, so stop here if you have time to enjoy authentic Ecuadorian food made with love!

Great Vegan Dinner in Quito

The owner and cook, Victoria, discussed and recommended vegan food choices to us and then made them fresh. The food was great, service was great and I recommend this restaurant!

Pros: Great food, Great service

Very special evening

This restaurant is very special. The owner and chef is delightful and engaging, and her son (who speaks English pretty well) is charming and informative. We picked several things from the menu, but the son told us about them and then recommended other things that we probably wouldn't have chosen, and we were all thrilled with our meal. We were 6 people, including 3 vegans and one vegetarian, and everyone had something to eat that they loved. And the wine was good too! The space is rustic and inviting. Don't miss this place if you're in Quito!

Pros: Great food, Very inexpensive, but very high quality, Warm, friendly atmosphere

Cons: Food takes a long time to prepare but worth it!

Charming spot for a casual vegan meal. We were delighted by the personalized meal created for us….a warm welcome and great service. Would give this five stars if we could. (They serve non-veg too)

Delicious vegan options

We got some delicious traditional Ecuadorian vegan food. Victoria, the owner and cook, is extremely friendly and suggested a vegan main dish to us, which was great. We also chose starters from the vegan/vegetarian section in the menu, empanadas and potatoe cakes, which were delicious. Definitely recommend!

Like Family, personally prepared

Excellent service with two pages of vegan and vegetarian options and very fair prices. Everything is cooked to order and Victoria, the owner and cocinera, will prepare and adapt any of her dishes to meet your needs. This includes food allergies or sensitivities or other reasons, to the best of her ability.

Pros: Delicious Ecuadorian dishes , Atmosphere and history , Super friendly and generous
