Lovely restaurant, delicious food - Edit
It was such a treat to be able to eat something different here in Senegal. The food is very tasty (especially the red lentil stew), and everything is prepared fresh. The restaurant is traditionally decorated with an inviting atmosphere. It's located in a residential area, so the gate was locked when we arrived (I just called the chef over the fence though). The chef also speaks English which is helpful.
Read moreThe chef says the platter ($16) is for 1 person, but it was enough for the 2 of us plus 1 smaller extra dish. The food is pricey for what it is (1 small plate of red lentils and injera is about $9, we spent $30 total for the meal with 2 juices) but I guess it's to be expected in the area. Bring cash and small change.

A full list of vegetarian options, based on red and green lentils, chickpeas, vegetables, cooked the Ethiopian style. A oasis for a vegetarian despite not being a fully vegetarian place. I chose a selection of five flavours. Food is excellent and very well presented. Nice peaceful atmosphere with ambience music. Great service. You need to use the map to find it: no obvious entrance but a door to knock at: you will be pleasantly surprised when the doors open.

Delicious Ethiopian food served in a beautiful setting. The vegetarian plate allows to try five different dishes. Try the Ethiopian coffee made in original pottery for dessert! Pick up possible.
