Veganen Burrito - Edit
Es gibt einen Veganen Burrito und eine Hummus Bowl welche als vegan gekennzeichnet sind. Der Service war gut, wir konnten danach noch mehrere Stunden dort sein ohne etwas neues zu bestellen und das Essen war lecker. Das vegetarische Shakshuka war ebenfalls sehr lecker. I've added this to happy cow mainly to share with other vegans to not go here despite their marked options!
Read moreDespite it being all day breakfast, it's not served past 5 so no burrito for dinner. They didn't have the houmous bowl and no vegan sausage for the salad.
We asked for some tofu (normally in the burrito) to have with the salad as no sausage. This they did do.
It took a long time to arrive, considering it was basically just leaves, and when it did, it had parmesan on top! When we pointed this out the waiter looked confused. He had clearly been told we were vegans at the beginning of ordering. This was doublely weird considering the parmesan was on the menu as a costed extra??
He took these back with no apology and came back 10 minutes later with new ones without cheese. Still no attempt at apology. We pointed out that due to allergies its extremely dangerous to advertise a dish as vegan and then it comes with cheese, in the dark it could have easily been missed!
It was okay in the end but expensive for the price and simply frustrating. Feels like they are just putting on options marked as vegan on the menu because they've seen demand but have little care in providing what they say.
At the end of the meal, when paying the waiter made some bizarre comments about how there's not many vegan options in the area as people like chicken???
Just go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.
