Loved this Breakfast Spot - Edit

I had the vegan breakfast meal here every morning while in Rome. It was a cappuccino with the option of soy, almond, oat, or hazelnut milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, two cornettos, and a biscuit for €9.

The location is excellent for nearby sightseeing as you walk out the door and see the Coliseum.

The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Good Quality Food, Friendly Service, Great Location

Great place - Edit

Really nice place. I went there to get breakfast before visiting the colloseum. I just ordered the vegan breakfast with a cappuccino with soy milk. The staff was very friendly, and the food delicious. I haven’t had a croissant in years (I usually don’t bother with them) and I loved them. The orange croissant was special, but very refreshing. I didn’t see too many vegan options, but I also didn’t ask, as I was happy with the vegan breakfast. I noticed on the menu though that there are a couple vegan salad options (with seitan or tofu). Can totally recommend!

They offer a vegan breakfast with a vegan croissant (2 “flavours”) and cappuccino (soy, rice, oat or almond!). They also had a vegan carrot cake and staff was really kind. They printed me some documents when i asked for a place where i could do it. Really appreciated. I recommend this bar!!! Very very nice

5 minutes from Colessum - Edit

I came for lunch, you pick your plate and pay for the weight. I told the staff they could pick whatever as long it was vegan and it was sooo good! The food bottle of water and a soy cappuccino for 11,5 Euro. Very nice and helpful staff, if you sit by the window you have a great view of colosseum.

no vegan options - Edit

Walked half an hour to get to this place only to be told they had no vegan food left, we went at midday for lunch so it wasn't even that late in the day. Very disappointing considering it seemed to have such good reviews on here

Really Rome! - Edit

We loved this place. After seeing a vegan breakfast sign in the window, we went back the following morning to find a bustling experience that was surprisingly removed from the tourist trap. Yes, there aren't many options. But for a quick authentic breakfast it was absolutely perfect.

Pros: Great experience, Cheap

Cons: Limited options

Informative and happy to help! - Edit

The staff reassured me on which items on the menu were vegan. I chose the tofu salad with walnuts, lots of green and purple lettuce as well as cherry tomatoes with sourdough bread on the side. The tofu itself was okay, but could have been marinated in some sort of sauce, maybe BBQ-style tofu would be good, but it was pretty bland, and you could tell it was just fried off in oil. There was too much lettuce and the salad had no sauce or dressing. Adding avocado or dressing would be better. Overall, fairly pleased with the overall service, but the food itself was bland.

Pros: Big portions, Relatively good price , Provide vegan croissants and ice-creams, clearly l

Cons: Bland food in regards with the salad

Dry croissants - Edit

I was really excited to go here and try out the croissants but the one I had was really dry and bland, very disappointing! They also didn't have much in the way of vegan lunch options, just some potatoes and mixed veg. Not the best place for vegans.

Pros: Nice potatoes and veg

Cons: Very few vegan options, Dry croissants

Vegan breakfast - Edit

Vegan breakfast includes a croissant (range of vegan croissants - plain, nut, chocolate almond, chocolate coconut and various fruit jam options were on offer, these change daily), coffee/tea and fresh juice for €9, vegan muffins are also available. Vegan salad options available at lunchtime. Soy, oat & almond milk available. Staff speak English well and were really attentive, cafe is a stones throw from the Colosseum. We ended up having breakfast here every morning of our trip! :)

Delicious vegan croissants - Edit

We went here just to check the place out, around lunchtime. They had a lunch salad bar, where you could build your own salad. There were plenty vegan options. The staff was friendly, knew exactly what vegans eat (and don't eat).

We had two vegan chocolate croissants to go, they cost about €1.80 each.

Pros: Friendly staff, Vegan salad options, Delicious croissants

Cons: Not many seats, we had our croissants to go

Limited choice - Edit

This bar is conveniently located within reach from the Colosseum, but when we went there there were just some veggies and rice as a vegan option from their buffet. Staff are friendly but the lack of choices is a real turndown. They have good options for breakfast though, with some really mouthwatering croissants and non dairy milk for your cappuccino.

Pros: mouthwatering croissants , good options for breakfast, friendly staff

Cons: very limited vegan choices for lunch

Vegan breakfast - Edit

I went early in the day and got the vegan breakfast, which includes a soy cappuccino, fresh orange juice, and your choice of croissant from their selection of vegan croissants. Staff spoke English well and was very helpful. There's enough seating inside to find a spot to sit.

Within walking distance of the Colosseum

Small but yummy selection for vegans - Edit

La Licata is relatively close to the Colosseum area, so nice for a quick lunch while sightseeing. We had two plates of buffet style grilled vegetables/rice which was quite nice, as well as a delicious chocolate croissant. They also have a large selection of alcoholic drinks if you want to have some fun.

Food prices are pretty reasonable, drinks are quite pricey. Atmosphere and staff are great!

Pros: Chocolate croissant!, Good prices, Friendly staff

Cons: Small selection, Expensive drinks

Yummy food! There's a case of salads and veggies most of which are vegan or vegetarian. Apparently they do a vegan breakfast which we will definitely come back for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome spot for lunch and a beer.

Pros: rosemary potatoes , breaded eggplant

Good healthy food - Edit

We went to La Licata for lunch. The server explained how it worked, we choose what we wanted on our plate and paid by weight. They had several vegetables options that were tasty - breaded eggplant, spinach, rice, zucchini, etc. It was a yummy retreat from all the pasta and pizza in Italy. They also have vegan coffees and pastries for breakfast. The only problem is that it was very busy and they had one waiter. It took us several minutes to get his attention to get our check. Located a short walk from the Colosseum.

Pros: Location

Cons: Service
