Vegan breakfast - Edit

I went early in the day and got the vegan breakfast, which includes a soy cappuccino, fresh orange juice, and your choice of croissant from their selection of vegan croissants. Staff spoke English well and was very helpful. There's enough seating inside to find a spot to sit.

Within walking distance of the Colosseum

Small but yummy selection for vegans - Edit

La Licata is relatively close to the Colosseum area, so nice for a quick lunch while sightseeing. We had two plates of buffet style grilled vegetables/rice which was quite nice, as well as a delicious chocolate croissant. They also have a large selection of alcoholic drinks if you want to have some fun.

Food prices are pretty reasonable, drinks are quite pricey. Atmosphere and staff are great!

Pros: Chocolate croissant!, Good prices, Friendly staff

Cons: Small selection, Expensive drinks

cafeteria style plate food, fun and lively atmosphere - Edit

Yummy food! There's a case of salads and veggies most of which are vegan or vegetarian. Apparently they do a vegan breakfast which we will definitely come back for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome spot for lunch and a beer.

Pros: rosemary potatoes , breaded eggplant

Good healthy food - Edit

We went to La Licata for lunch. The server explained how it worked, we choose what we wanted on our plate and paid by weight. They had several vegetables options that were tasty - breaded eggplant, spinach, rice, zucchini, etc. It was a yummy retreat from all the pasta and pizza in Italy. They also have vegan coffees and pastries for breakfast. The only problem is that it was very busy and they had one waiter. It took us several minutes to get his attention to get our check. Located a short walk from the Colosseum.

Pros: Location

Cons: Service
