Delicious food, not great coffee. - Edit
I ordered the smashed avocado with tempeh bacon and roasted tomatoes. It was really tasty and flavourful. There was a dedicated vegan menu which was great, as I didn't need to make any adjustments to my order. One of the only cafés with vegan options in Rosebud. Took a vegan vanilla slice to go, which was delicious too! Unfortunately, the coffee was way too hot, and the foam (cappuccino) was airy and overflowing the cup.

Unfortunately both meals we ordered were inedible as they were so salty. Asked the staff about this, to which we got a very rude reply.

We still have our vegan menu, plus a few off the menu extras such as vegan frittatta, lentil pies, "sausage" rolls and many more. We deeply apologise that you had a bad experience with us last time and do hope that you come back and give us another go!

It's great to see a cafe making the effort to have a vegan menu in Rosebud.
Read moreSome items on the big breakfast were overpoweringly salty unfortunately, otherwise it could have been a good meal. We also tried a lentil pie which was dry and in need of some gravy in the filling. The vanilla slice was reasonable but a touch bland.

The Ocean - Edit
Close to the ocean and containing a touch too much of it, this cafe has potential but really needs to reduce the amount of salt thrown onto the food. The big breakfast would have been fairly decent with roughly 1/3 cup less salt. I would like to assume this was a one-off, but both the scrambled tofu and the spinach doubled my salt intake for the year in one sitting.

Cute and cosy cafe with delightful vegan treats. My husband and I love their biscuits and vanilla slice. Also have savoury options which I always hear great things about. Really friendly staff as well which is a bonus.
