Excellent vegan haven in Tazewell

Their menu (which I foolishly forgot to take a picture of) has at least six different dedicated vegetarian options, and the restaurant is aware enough of veganism to specifically state at the top of the section that all the dishes are vegan if you remove dairy. Whatever you order, specify no cheese and no sour cream.

I got the veggie fajitas (pictured), and they were lovely. My friend group makes a trip to this area just about every year, and I’ll definitely be back here. If this were a more-veg town I would consider docking a star for having no “vegan-by-default” menu item, but it is really your best option in Tazewell so it deserves 4 stars.

Pros: Menu clearly states that things can be vegan, Well-seasoned, veggie-forward dishes, Cute little tienda with a few vegan Mexican treats

Cons: Refried beans have cheese by default
