La comida estaba bien, aunque sin muchas pretensiones. Era casera y había dos entrantes y dos platos a escoger. Los postres sí que estaban muy ricos. El sitio está bien pero la camarera no paraba de atosigarnos para que pidieramos, cuando necesitábamos más tiempo ya que había dos personas a las que había que traducirselo. Hasta 3 veces le dijimos que estábamos pensándolo (sin apenas tiempo entre uno y otro).

This small cafe is just minutes away from the gates of the palace of Versailles and it's a very welcome break from all the walking around, we had a late lunch before visiting the gardens. The owner is lovely and offers a warm welcome, the food is very simple and might need extra seasoning for some but we enjoyed it.

Cozy little one-person cafe offering homemade meals - Edit
We stopped in for lunch after a busy morning visiting Versailles. We were glad to find a vegan place not too far away, but the selection was quite small. That's understandable for a one-person operation.
Read moreBoth of us ordered the prix fixe menu that included an entree, drink and dessert. We chose the vegetable couscous and pasta salad for our mains, the kefir fermented drink and verbena infusion for our beverages, and the compote and cake for dessert.
The couscous was definitely better than the pasta salad. Both drinks were relatively mild, so not bad at all, and the compote was over the cake. I'm not sure how often the menu changes here, possibly daily (?). If that's the case, it would probably warrant regular visits to check out different items. We probably won't be back in the area any time soon, so that counts us out.
It's worth a try if visiting Versailles and you're looking for an all-vegan restaurant.

The food was amazing—full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. The woman who served me was so kind and welcoming, and even spoke English, which made the experience even easier as a traveler. We went here for lunch prior to seeing the palace and it was so good we then went back again for afternoon tea! Such a lovely and welcoming owner/ chef. All the food we had was delicious and the plum cake divine.

We stayed in Versaille for about a week and we went here for lunch every day we could! Phanie makes a different menu every day, and you can definitely taste the love that is put in😄everything is super healthy and organic!

Convenient location for visiting the palace. Cute street. The woman (Phanie?) was pretty friendly except was a little frustrated when we had trouble communicating that we wanted tap water. I got lemon celery gratin mashed potatoes and granola chia pudding. I also got some type of infused water that I didn’t like. The potatoes were okay. But I generally love granola chia pudding so I liked that a lot. We were the only ones in the restaurant.

Friendly owner who spoke perfect English. All homemade food - we had lentil and mushroom lasagne, broccoli soup, lentil pie and roasted veg with couscous. And vegan ice-cream. Amazing.

The hostess is very nice and has a wonderful little restaurant set up. From the short but sweet menu, I ordered the pasta salad, which was refreshing and light after a long time on my feet at the Palace and Gardens. Only problem is, the food was gone in a flash, and I didn’t necessarily feel satisfied for 12 euro. However, it was a nice meal and I was happy to support the only vegan restaurant here.

After a long visit at Versailles, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to reset and recharge with a good meal. We chose the combo deal of one entree, one drink from the menu, and one dessert for 18.50€ (if I remember right). The owner was very gracious and kind😄
