Delicious pupusas - Edit
Love the plant based pupusas here and the empanada de platano. They will sometimes have a rotating plant based special pupusa. We have come here many times!

The soy chorizo pupusa has a great cheesy meaty flavor.
Empanada plantano was a bit gooier than I'd like.

This restaurant is located inside La Cosecha, a Latin American venue with lots of food options and cultural events (such as salsa every other Thursday). I ordered the featured pupusa, which was soy-chicharrón, and it was delicious! Better than expected, to be honest. The plant-based cheese was particularly tasty. It was not small, but not big, so I also ordered plantain empanadas as a dessert. They were also really good! Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and with a delicious sweet filling. Overall, a great experience, and prices were fair. Definitely recommended.

Nothing about the food here tasted healthy but sometimes that is exactly what you want. I had the enchiladas which were crispy and delicious the empanadas which were so sweet and sugary. Quite expensive for the portion sizes but that is standard in DC.
