At the time of our visit to La Balmesina they had one vegan pizza on menu "VegAnna". Everything on that pizza was great: dough was amazing light with the perfect fermentation, toppings were fresh and from top quality, the game changing element was there "vegan mozzarella" being some type of nuts cream I suppose. When I ordered this pizza I was afraid of just another industrial fake cheese. But not, at Balmesina they definitely know what they are doing!

The pizzas were delicious, the crust was perfect and the cheese didn't taste like coconut oil at all! They use the Vacka mozzarella which is delicious

Pizza dough is first-class, and the ingredients are great. I had a "la vegana" and would repeat, with mozzarella-like cheese (from VÄCKA, I believe).

Despite having only 1 vegan pizza on the menu, they are knowledgeable about veganism and can adapt the vegetarian pizzas with ease.
