A short walk from the JR station. My partner and I both got the set lunch of the day that came with salads, tofu, sweet and sour veggies and miso soy bean mince over rice. Everything on the plate was very fresh and tasty and it was a generous serving. Loved this place!

Check photos for a good idea of what the foods like. Lots of chickpeas, but so many delicious dishes! Would definitely go here a lot if i was in Nara longer!

We had a set menu got 900yen and it was so nice. Definitely worth a visit when in Nara, be sure to check the opening hours as it's only later in the week that it's open in an evening.

A cosy little restaurant just a short walk away from Kintetsu-Nara station. We had a set lunch for ¥900, it was really good and filling! The owner is super nice and makes all the food herself, also the prices are affordable. Definitely try this one if you're in Nara!

I had a great lunch here, there is a set lunch menu every day, so you can’t choose, it was so good! I kind of like the surprise menu, so for me it was a perfect fit:) The owner speaks very good English, thats not so common in Japan so thats a very big pro for me as well. So overall, just great!

Lovely dining in Nara. The chef was incredibly welcoming and speaks great English. She was wonderful to talk to as well about veganism, cooking and life. There's just a lunch plate of the day for ¥900 which I thought was great value. We had a green pea curry, and assortment of sides, all which were flavoursome. We then got the brownie for ¥200 which was lovely. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in Nara.

Perfect destination for vegans looking for a great lunch (mo-sat) and/or dinner (wed-sat) in Nara. A nice little walk from the temple or park brings you to this little gem. The owners are very kind, open, speak perfect English and cook the tastiest menues freshly every day. It’s great value for money, we paid 900 each for a tasty and filling lunch set. We highly recommend this little place and would come back here any time!!

Stopped here over the Japanese holiday so the owner had a fixed menu instead of the regular menu online. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. It is a small restaurant with counter (bar) seating only for a small number of people. The restaurant is tucked up a block or two off the main road but still easy to find and is just off the bus route. The owner speaks excellent English and the menu (on the board) was dual language. Everything is vegan of course. Serves a few styles of beer and wine too. This was a very nice find for those seeking vegan options.
