Kubrick, Hong Kong - Edit
I don't doubt this place was added in good faith. The options for vegans are very limited to just 2 dishes. Also they don't have soya milk for tea / coffee. There's plenty places nearby with more choice.
The venue is in HK's best known cinema for independent movies. Thus if you're taking in a flick and need somewhere on premises at least you have the choice of the 2 dishes.
Pros: Better than nothing
Cons: Very limited vegan options, No soy milk for their coffee

this isn't a proper review as i haven't tried their new menu, which they sent me through facebook today, 29 jan 2017 (see photos).
i just wanted to make a note to vegetarians that they use ordinary, non-vegetarian cheese - which means there's a high chance a calf had to be slaughtered for enzymes from its fourth stomach, which are needed to coagulate milk to make cheese. fair enough, since they are not marketing themselves as a vegetarian restaurant.
having browsed through the menu and having had some online exchanges with their representative, the only items in their new menu that appear to be suitable for vegans are:
- penne with broccoli and sweet chilli $68
- quinoa in vinaigrette with avocado and sweet peas $78
- happy cow ice cream
(which is a pity, as i remember they used to have two vegan or at least easily-veganised pasta dishes previously. i'd be happy to be proved wrong.)
given that they use non-vegetarian cheese, the only additional items suitable for vegetarians are:
- farmer bread with hummus (contains butter) $88
- vegetarian all-day breakfast (contains egg) $128
alternatively, but less ideally, one could ask for meat/seafood to be removed from certain pasta dishes, or order natural cut fries without sauce?

Pros: chilled-out vibe, good environment for sitting and reading alone, sells happy cow ice cream
Cons: non-veg cheese severely limits veggie options, no icon on menu to indicate veg*n options, can be hard to get seats at peak hours

It's a good place for western food and hanging out with non-vegetarian (who don't really want to try veg food so I could have mine and they have their food), The cafe is just in the bookstore. It's a really nice place however it's very noisy and crowded in the evening time. The food is delicious and staff is friendly. However, the service is very slow. Have to wait for 15 - 30 minutes for food.
Pros: Indication of food ingredients and English menu, Friendly staff
Cons: Noisy and crowded, Slow service
