Delicious, flavorful - Edit

This was a wonderful meal. Delicious, flavorful, and little spicy.

I got the DUI noodles and spring rolls appetizer.

Three things: 1) I got a mild spice level and it was plenty spicy for me. You might want to go down 1 on your usually spicy level. 2) There's only one cook, so you'll wait 20-25 minutes on a walk-in. Consider phone in order and pickup. 3) The dining area is small so don't expect to dine-in

Delicious Thai Vegan Options - Edit

We were heading home after a camping trip and decided to treat ourselves to a dinner. Since we hit Abilene around dinner time, we hit up Happy Cow for options. We are glad we did! A small family owned diner, where everyone was friendly. Very busy, but a lot of takeout orders. So the small dining room was not really a problem. They made it easy to customize an order by listing (btw, a short list) those items that could not be made vegan. I had the Ka-Prow with Tofu. My lovely wife had the Thai Basil Chicken with no chicken and extra veggies. For an appetizer, Thai Spring Rolls. All were tasty and delicious. You can order your spice preference, but be careful! They seem to run a little hot compared to other Thai restaurants that I've been to. Or maybe I'm a bit wimpy compared to their other customers! I do know that any and all trips out west will be planned so that we reach Abilene (and Krua Thai) around lunch or dinner time!
