The burgers at this food truck are good and I appreciated that they weren’t the traditional types of burgers. They are very creative and a nice change. Also, you can choose 2 sauces for every burger. I’m definitely not German when it comes to the love of all things kraut, but I absolutely loved the Purple Weed Rotkraut burger with mustard. The Mellow Yellow rice burger with mango tango and chili sauce (which is actually spicy) had complex flavors that went well together. Bumble bean kidney burger with hamburger sauce and critical hot BBQ sauce was also really good. The Magic Pill lentil burger with green curry and remoulade sauces was also nice - the burger didn’t have much of its own taste so it is great to really load on the sauces. The portions are large and filling and there are tables outside that you can stand at.

Whenever I'm hungry but don't have tons of time or money to spare, I visit Kombinat V (former Burger Green). The have the most amazing Burgers. I do especially love the Sauerkraut Burger and the sauces are great too. My favourite ones are Aioli, Barbecue Sauce and Hamburger Sauce :)

Immer, wenn Jena auf meiner Strecke liegt fahre ich hierher. Mein Favorit ist der Rotkrautburger. Dazu kann man sich zwei Soßen aussuchen und verschiedene Toppings. Die Toppings bezahlt man extra. Wenn ich es schaffe, esse ich auch eine Bockvurst. Dann lohnt sich der Umweg richtig. Alles wird ganz frisch zubereitet und mit Liebe gemacht. Und das schmeckt man einfach.

All food has a hemp/healthy junk food theme. No tofu/seitan.. instead it's more lentils, beans etc burgers. Although the hotdog seemed to be the meatiest option (possibly that one is seitan or tofu)
