They had two different vegan options — cheese and pico de gallo. I took them to go and heated them at home. They were both quite good! I paid $13 for 3 slices.
Kiss my slice is a small pizza chain--simple, no frills, tiny place to get a slice or order a pie, with a few places to sit if you want to wolf down your slice. I have been to their other venue and had a vegan slice, and it was fine. Their vegan slices use Numi cheese and (for some slices) Beyond Burger also. Not a huge selection, to be sure.
I seem to recall grabbing a Numi slice at this branch a while ago, and I found it perfectly acceptable. I did not think about recommending this place be listed on Happy Cow, however, because I thought that their vegan offerings were too limited. However, when I saw that this branch was added to Happy Cow, I decided to check it out again.
Unfortunately, they were all out of vegan slices when I got there at early dinner time. They said that I could order a special pie, or wait for 20 minutes...but I did not want to. The staff was apologetic and cordial, but it remains that a pizza place listed on Happy Cow--and that advertizes vegan pizza prominently on their storefront--should have vegan slices always, not hit and miss. I also note that they do not list vegan pizza or slices on their webpage.
If other Happy Cow reviewers catch them at better times, their rating might go up. But the moral of the story remains: if you want a good Happy Cow review, make sure that you are well stocked with your vegan offerings.

Read moreIts a very tight fit, sort of a hole in the wall, but the food is good. Located right near the Queensborough bridge.
Pros: Open&nearby in the rain when I needed it, Multiple vegetarian options, Good prices in a modest setup
