Love this place!

We were in Darwin for only two days and we went to Kings on both! Lots of vegan options, friendly service, and HUGE servings. Go and you won't be disappointed!

Great

King’s is fantastic. They offer a variety of foods, drinks and snacks on their menu suited for everyone (even the non veg/vegans would be surprised).
I should mention their food Kirtan contributions on a Sunday and every other Friday night... delicious!
King’s is something else, which Darwin has been lacking.
Good work guys :-)

Palmerston Pioneers

I took an enjoyable bus ride out to Palmerston to see what Kings was all about.

I had the pakora, which were unlike pakora i'd had anywhere else: spinach leaves and slices of potato in what i guess was a besan flour batter that was crunchy, tasty and came in a very generous serve. They were great.

I was glad to have the tofu scramble sandwich and slice of pie i took away, but they didn't stand out like the pakora.

Kings have done a great job introducing a largely vegan menu - hopefully at some point they'll also drop the cow's milk.

All in all, lots of choices, and i hope to return sometime.

Pros: Friendly and helpful, Lots of choices, from raw things to cooked, Large area with different type of seating

Cons: Cow's milk still available

Has only been open a short time. Huge variety of 100% Vegan food. Burgers, Buddha Bowls, Curries, Pies, Desserts and Coffee just to name a few. We had the Toasties and Dessert with coffee. Hit the right spot.

Amazing!

I am so excited by this little gem of a cafe. A true vegan cafe with amazing selection of yummy food, drinks and friendly staff. If in Darwin region and looking for vegan food its well worth the 20 minute drive to the Charles Darwin University (Palmerston campus) The cafe has aircon and a nice relaxed feel. Plenty of room also for young ones to play. So far Ive tried a chickpea and pumpkin curry, basil & spinach triangle puffs, macadamia milk latte. ALL WERE AMAZING!!!

Pros: Yummy Vegan food, Great coffee & sweets., Friendly staff

Cons: I wish location was closer to Darwin.

Definitely check this place out. It's worth the drive from Darwin... and maybe even from Adelaide ;)

An amazing find! Beautiful campus setting, and delicious, creative food. I had the tofu scramble big brekkie which was large and delicious. Great coffee and very friendly staff. The menu was extensive and 100% vegan :) other than the cows milk for coffee :(. I wish I was in town for longer. It's a bit difficult to find. Follow the directions onto the university campus and turn right as you reach the football oval. You'll see an acai flag on your left. That's the place. Check it out!

Pros: All vegan food menu , Delicious and creative , Large portions

Cons: Cows milk used for coffee :(
