More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Because eating vegan food is part of being vegan, which is the only option if you believe in avoiding harm to our fellow animals. At the same time, there's an abundance of wonderful food available.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

At the moment raspberries, choc muesli dropins, and dishes which feature botato ;) This changes like the weather, though, and many other foods have been favourites at different times eg home made soy yoghurt, salad sandwiches, thinkfood pistachio cranberry munch, sauerkraut, ice cream (particularly So Delicious), avocados...

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Animal Rights: The Abolitionist Approach, Philosophy: Who Needs It, Motivational Methods for Vegan Advocacy, A Lawyer Presents the Evidence for the Afterlife - not because it's unquestionable, but because it opens your eyes to the amount of information on the subject.
