Friendly Service

The Kind Cuisine Cafe was a nice spacious place that looked perfect for studying or sketching during lunchtime. We ordered a few entrees, which took a while to prepare, but were quite good. They tasted good in comparison to other similar dishes, yet the Kind Cuisine's menu has lots of Gluten-Free Options, while balancing vegan proteins with a large portion of your choice of side dish. The food was light, yet filling, although i prefer it a little spicier. Good Choice of Nut Butter Sandwich and fruit for our little one and the sweet potato Chili Was amazing and spiced just right and the smoothies seem to have an earthy artisan taste, delivered in a glass jar, which complimented it nicely! I am excited to try something else next time, the Kombucha on Tap or see what vegan wine they carry!

Pros: healthy food, nice environment/vibe, gluten free choices

Cons: a slight wait for handcrafted dishes

Amazing Restaurant in an Unlikely Location

While attending a conference in Boise, I decided to give this cafe a go for dinner. I am sure glad that I did. I have many food sensitivities and am both gluten-free and vegan. The staff is not only attentive and helpful but they go out of their way to accommodate special requests/needs. My dinner was fantastic! Almost the entire menu is vegan and gluten-free options are available for almost every dish. I ended up with a fresh carrot/ginger/celery/mint juice. One of the employees actually showed me the mint that she went out and picked from the garden on site. The juice was great! The Hummus Socca Foldover made from chickpea flower was incredible. I ended up coming back the next day for brunch. For brunch I had the tofu scramble with the vegan/GF super seed bread. In can't stop raving about the bread--it was sooooo delightful!

You have to eat here. The menu is eclectic, the service top-notch and the food scrumptious!

Pros: Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere

Cons: Located in an out-of-the-way place

Delicious Vegan Breakfast - a rarity in Boise

We were so excited to find a place that offered vegan breakfast. This is no located near downtown, but is worth the 15 minute drive. I made reservations because the website advised that but it's not necessary. We had the tofu scramble, vegan-gf pancake, maple tempeh, and potatoes. My husband loved the potatoes and I really liked the pancake - nice and fluffy, not heavy like many gf vegan pancakes. The tofu was ok...had cumin as a spice which I do not like, so I poured the maple syrup on it to mask the taste. We also really liked the tempeh...no smoky flavor which I feared. I would definitely go back here again and recommend this place if you are in Boise.

Pros: Vegan Breakfast!, Maple Tempeh (yum!), Fresh juice

Cons: Tofu scramble made with cumin :(, Wish it was closer to downtown
