Lovely food

I’ve had the vegan kimbap and the bulgogi, both delicious! Also sell homemade kimchi to take away

Amazing!

Visited kimchi planet last week on a whim and was so so impressed. Staff were so well clued up on vegan options and there was even a vegan special on the menu that sounded amazing. The ‘beef’ was some of the best vegan beef I’ve ever found, and the kimchi and kimbap sides were incredible too.
Will definitely be returning!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Really lovely, helpful staff , Vegan ‘specials’ on menu

Nice lunch

Eventually found kimchi planets for lunch.
Had California roll takeaway and was impressed they staff asked about mayo and vegan..
Rolls very nice and well priced at a fiver. They only have a couple of vegan options but it's a small.menu overall.

Pros: Staff, Food, Value

Cons: Meat

Disappointing

I had wanted to go here for a long time as I had heard good reports. Went on a Sunday lunchtime with a meat eating husband. I had the vegan beef Bulgogi my hubby had beef bulgogi and we shared some vegan dumplings. I did ask for a side of kimchi but they didn’t have enough left for a side. We both thought the food was very dry and nothing special. I left a lot of the rice because of this. I won’t be going back

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Limited menu, Nothing special

Tasty Korean vegan food

Vegan items were clearly marked. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. If the vegan menu was expanded then it would be perfect.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Tasty food at a reasonable price

Cons: Limited range of vegan options

Out of this world

Absolutely loved the food here. We ordered the fried veggie dumplings, kimchi kimbap, spicy ramyun soup and beef bulgogi to share. All the food was delicious but I particularly enjoyed the kimchi kimbap (sushi rolls), which were so fresh and flavoursome and the beef bulgogi, which was again bursting with flavour with the texture of the beef simply fantastic. The dumplings were crispy and superb, whilst the noodle soup was indeed spicy. With drinks, we spent just over £20 and will definitely visit again soon. Staff were very friendly too. Only issue is parking, as it is located in a residential area but there is 70p parking just a short walk away or you can get #6 or #32 bus from city centre.

Pros: Fantastic vegan food, Inexpensive , Friendly staff

Cons: Serves meat
