Spicy Thai food. Better to arrive when food has just been prepared. Difficult to find because the soi has no name. From Phra Sumen Road, take the soi just beside the Kasikorn Bank, between Samsen Rd and Banphanthom Alley, cross the bridge, turn left, then the restaurant is on the right - please send HappyCow the correct map coordinates. Still great

I have been eating at this place for over 12 years and its still good. A bit less clean than before but the food is still tasty. It does close around 1pm or whenever they run out of food. Truly a local place and the price is the price for everyone. Nice juices in the fridge, soy milk in the morning and some type of dim sum available. Sometimes brown rice as well. Noodles and freshly cooked dishes are possible upon request.

Good food and very cheap

A very thai style restaurant with good and cheap food! One dish costs less than 1 euro and they have many kinds of fake meat. One of the best places if you like the thai kitchen!

Pros: good food, cheap, thai style

Cons: close 2 pm, non smoking

sweet, almost hidden little place

very cool little place... had to track it down but it's really not that hard to find at all, just go down Tanao Road (the one where Khao San ends) towards the canal, it curves around and passes a little skate park. The small street is literally across from that skate park, looks like an alley but actually leads to a little bridge.

For me the food wasn't as delicious as Aroi or nicely presented as Mother and Son, but it had a nice authentic feel, lots of Thais eating there, and some really nice tofu and mushrooms going on. Pretty simple place but definitely worth walking the extra block to seek out. English was pretty non-existent.

Pros: quite tasty, authentic place, convenient

Cons: slightly hard to find, closes too early!

Great little joint!

Man I have to say that I just love this place! Although the selection of vegetable dishes are served cold (unless you arrive when the are put out fresh), you can also order some items to be made for you (if you know how to order in Thai). They make a great padthai for about 25 bhat! There is also an amazingly obese and cute dog who sits outfront of the adjacent shop.

Pros: Tasty/heathy food, super cheap, made to order items

Cons: vegegable selection served cold, may be hard to find
