Too many fillings - Edit
We ordered Combi Gourmet, Gombi Maestra and Special Seitan. Special seitan was good and simple. The Combis were unfortunately not good. There is just too much going on with all the fillings, sauces and ceviches on top of rolls. The gyozas should not be called gyoza because the dough is similar to empanadas, very thick. If you like your sushi more simple, choose the rolls separately instead of ordering a combo.

The best sushi I have tried - Edit
Living in Paris before, I had a regular sushi place that I thought was phenomenal - so I was very surprised to find that Kambo surpassed this. Just the most exceptional flavours!
Read moreWe ordered one of the combinations which came with panko mushroom starter and 3 different rolls. We ordered the Olive roll additionally. The ceviche roll was my favourite - but hard to pick one as each one was my favourite as I tried it.
If you are in Santiago, do not miss out.
If I lived in Santiago, I would be making it my mission to eat there regularly so I could try every roll!

Desde que descubrí Kambo, se convirtió en mi favorito. Una carta innovadora y muy colorida. Además de los sabores atrevidos de algunos rolls, lo hace un excelente lugar para compartir con amigos o familia. Mi roll favorito es el tiradito roll y green roll.

Best vegan sushi EVER - Edit
This place is so good, I can't find the words to properly describe it. I had high expectations after reading the reviews here and still it exceeded all of them. The restaurant itself is inside a sort of food court in an amazing neighborhood in Santiago, definitely worth exploring. We ended up ordering a lot of food because there are just too many options and it was very difficult to choose just one thing. As starters, we had quinoa gyozas - I've never seen that before - and the volcano roll. Thankfully, the gyozas were quite small since the rolls were big and satisfying. Both were incredibly tasty. But the star of the show was - as the name suggests - the All-Stars Combo. Unbelievable. Every piece is so beautifully prepared in such a perfect combination of flavors and textures that your mouth explodes of happiness after every bite. I'm not kidding, it is that good. I've had a lot of good vegan sushi over the years but Kambo's is a whole other level. I'm both sad and happy that I don't live in Santiago because they are expensive (totally reasonable), so I would be leaving a lot of money here if I did!

The best sushi I've ever tasted - Edit
Believe all the hype about this place. It was the best sushi I've ever had and I lived in Tokyo for a year! 2 of us shared the all stars combo and the chimichurri roll and were happily stuffed. The combinations are very inventive, the ceviche roll was delicious and they even managed to pull off a sweet roll with an almond. We got the food for takeaway and it came with wasabi, ginger, soy sauce and sweet soy sauce. My only regret is that we leave Santiago tomorrow morning so can't get more.

I had sushi rolls and Agedashi Tofu and both are very good. This place does use somewhat unusual and unique ingredients like roasted almond in sushi. A minor thing noticed is that the sauce is a bit too sweet for the tofu dish.

Creative and tasty plant based sushi, lots of different choices (perhaps even too many). We sampled lots of different rolls over several occasions and tried to stay away from rolls with deep fried ingredients (somewhat unsuccessfully though). Some rolls were better than others. I think our favourite was “curcuma roll”.
Read moreWe were also excited to see that they had a category of rolls without rice. However, most of them are deep fried, so they unfortunately end up being heavier than rolls with rice. We didn't expect them to be deep fried, so this came as a bit of a surprise to us when our "green roll" was fried.
Of the non-sushi dishes we liked the cubitos de tofu. However, Chef's special cevice was rather unspecial. It was a strange combination of fresh ingredients with deep fried onion rings and sweet potato... without any sauce (at least I didnt taste any).
As with most places in Santiago, portions are large. I'd say 1 roll per person is more than enough if you are moderatly hungry.

We came here after traveling in the south of Chile and only being able to have chips when eating out, or the occasional falafel burger. This was such a treat! The food was beautifully presented and everything was delicious. We had the all stars combo and also had a side of cubitos de tofu which we would highly recommend. The cocktails are also delicious, we had a strawberry and a passionfruit daiquiri. Easily the best sushi we've ever had.

My husband and I were blown away by the quality, the presentation, the service. We had to wait for a table for 10min so we had a feeling that it would be worth the wait. And it was. It was the best meal of our lives, no exaggeration. Try the All-Stars Combo. It should have been called All-Stars-All-Winners Combo. Definitely a double shoot from both of us.

Great sushi rolls! - Edit
Very filling sushi rolls for a decent price. We bought some pieces to go and they were quite big. They also have crispy tofu, gyosas and more. I am not a fan of sauces on top of sushi but that’s still a creative touch.
