I have been visiting Kamat for more than a decade now and it's truly a place which will please every taste bud. It has soups, starters, chaats, north indian, south indian, indo chinese. Most of the items can be veganized and the staff is accomodating and always smiling. They are almost always busy and have to wait during the weekends.
Read moreOnce I felt like having north indian cuisine (they are usually with dairy cream and butter) and I asked the server if anything was possible without dairy - he went out of his way to create a mouth watering mughalai main course with a smile.
Pros: Most items can be veganized , Good variery, Not expensive

Pass by here at lunchtime Friday and you'll likely need to join the queue of lovers of vegetarian food from the subcontinent. The reason you'd be waiting is that there is something for all members of the family. They have hundreds of items on the menu and this well-established gem of the Dubai food scene probably had more vegan items than the average vegan restaurant. The downside is that there is no vegan menu, so come at a quieter time to discuss your choices without disrupting service.
