Our fave spot in Auckland - Edit
We got back time and time again. And can never get passed ordering from the cabinet food to try anything on the menu as it’s always different and so tasty looking!!! Always so delicious and satisfying, especially knowing what good food it is. If you’re looking for a serious treat though: the Cookie Monster shake is out of this world!

Buzzy Vegan Kiwi Cafe - Edit
Cute cafe with lovely space, and plenty of options depending on whatever you fancy! They had a beautiful cabinet with all sorts of slices and cakes, as well as savoury pies and sausage rolls, sandwiches and more. Unfortunately, the food we had didn't quite meet our expectations as much as we had hoped... The soy flat white I received was a bit burnt (and I don't ever not finish a coffee, but it was too bitter). We got the black forest cake, but instead of the typical black forest cherry, it was raspberry filling (unfortunately my least favourite fruit), and the cake was a bit dry. I wish they had labelled it a chocolate raspberry cake so I would have known. Portions were generous, however! We definitely would go back, just next time we would try some different things. The pie was very nice, with a delicious flaky pastry, but could have used some more of a Thai curry kick - however, I know that a lot of people are afraid of spicy foods, so it's safe to go a bit milder to appeal to more people. Overall, definitely give them a go!

Came here with a friend and we both got the ravioli. Okay portion size but a very punchy flavour. Really creamy. Also got a cheese tart to take home for later and I would definitely recommend that - great texture and wonderfully creamy. Love the sustainability awareness in the restaurant too!

Just visited the new Parnell site. Amazing food, good portions & reasonable pricing. Ordered one Mexican special; spinach & cashew cheese quiche; a sausage roll; & two coconut milk hot chocolates. The food was beyond our expectations. Before I became a plant-based food enthusiast, I didn’t like quiches. The one I had today was super tasty, like an intriguing mix of feta & egg. Even though none of these ingredients were in the dish. Also sampled a small piece of the delicious deli ‘meat’. Overall great experience & unpretentious staff. Paid $38 for food & drinks. Plus shared the three dishes between the two of us - was quite filling. I would recommend making the space ‘warmer/inviting’ with extra deco. But to be fair, cafe is pretty new, so probably still nutting out such details

I tried to sample as much as I could from the vegan deli and it was all yum! They had a lot of vegan versions of usually non-vegan foods, such as Quiche, brownie. savoury pastries, cannelloni... So probably good for the non-vegans that they can who want something familiar.

I thought I would never find a vegan cheese that I'd like - the Vegan Deli has proved me wrong. The Brazil Nut cheese is my favourite at the moment, but that tends to change every month or so. Great for spreading on crackers, chopping up in salads, layering in a sandwich or just eating straight from the package. Yum yum yum.
