Rock me Amadeus

Friendly little cafe with clearly marked vegan options. Not many savoury options were available when I visited but there were plenty of vegan sweets to satisfy ones hunger, with the tiffin a delightful treat. It's clear a lot of effort has went into reopening after lockdown and I felt very safe. I would definitely visit again.

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly

Lovely cake

I ordered a Wiener Melange (half coffee, half soy milk) and apple crumble cake. The coffee was lovely and the cake ammmaaazzing, it was tasty and moist. The server helpfully explained to me what was vegan on the menu. Not loads of choice for vegans but it isn’t a large menu and for a local coffee shop in a village, it’s amazing that they had any vegan options! If the lunch option is as good quality as the cake, then it’s a winner. Well worth a visit with an Omni friend.

Pros: Chilled atmosphere, Friendly service, Great coffee

Es war in Wien

Delightful old Viennese coffee haus atmosphere. Classical music in the background and plenty of European Kitsch. We had a couple of Americano coffees and a slice of what was a hugely enjoyable rhubarb crumble. More crumble than rhubarb, exactly the way it should be in my opinion. The tapas style / sharing plate savoury day and evening food menus looked appealing and I can see how they could quite easily be veganised. I certainly intend to find out. Late Friday opening with German biers or wine to choose from too. Come and rock me Amadeus

Pros: Vegan options , Beer & wine , Vegan cake

Perfect coffee& tasty vegan cake.

Nice bright cafe. Vegan options for sandwiches (I did not have but clearly marked) menu states to ask about vegan options. Vegan cakes change change every now and again I had a peach and coconut cake. Totally delicious !
Coffee is perfect.. soya milk available.

Pros: Nice find in an area without many vegan options

Cons: Parking can be hard to find in the village.
