Vegan restaurant and cafe in Nørrebro serving Danish 'hygge,' sourdough bread buns, vegan cheesecakes, and bakery goods. Choose from breakfast/brunch, a warm panini with sausage, cheese, mayo, or grilled veggies. Cakes can be ordered as whole cakes with 4 days advance notice. Est. 2015 and became fully vegan in 2019. Kaf is laptop-free (both inside and on the terrace). Open Mon-Sun 09:00-17:30.

Most amazing breakfast - Edit
Vegan home made breakfast which was out of this world. It is expensive if you have never visited Copenhagen before but standard price for the rest of the country. This breakfast had so many home made elements and everything tasted out of this world.

The server at Kaf was so friendly and nice to us! They were super knowledgeable about the coffee and made excellent recommendations. We had a flat white with oat milk, the seasonal Grilly sandwich, some pastries, and fresh grapefruit juice. Everything was amazing, I could've stayed there all day!

The cafe is lovely, the staff super friendly and they have so many vegan baked goods on offer there! It can get a bit busy but it's cozy nonetheless. They also offer breakfast and of course a range of drinks.

One of the few fully vegan places with good brunch and pastry opitons in the city. Very tasy baked stuff, creamy cakes and really good coffee, as well as savoury options(though they sized down their brunch options)

Amazing coffee, croissants and cakes (from simple cinnamon/cardamom buns to fancy passion fruit cheese cakes) - all plant-based. Quite a walk from Copenhagen city centre and a bit on the expensive side but all worth it. It’s a teeny tiny place, so be prepared for take out.

Head a lovely break here on our sightseeing trip. Small café with few options but fresh and great quality. We had a sandwich topped of with the triple chocolate cheese cake.

Had the chocolate cake, the new York cheese cake, a latte and my friend had a chai latte. We shared the cakes, and I can’t decide which was better! Probably the chocolate cake, just because I’m crazy about chocolate, but the cheesecake had that delicious cheesecake taste and consistency, that I haven’t had since going vegan. Much better than any vegan cheesecakes I’ve had! They are experts on vegan cake, I tell you. It wasn’t my first time there, but my first time having proper coffee and cake. Meaning I’ve only been there for a quick lunch (delicious buns!) and for a fastelavnsbolle (pastry with cream filling) before. Really enjoyed it, and the interior is nice too, althoughI prefer sitting outside on the square on a sunny day. I recommend to arrive early to check out seating, as you can’t book a table, and it’s a popular place.

When nice weather, the location is perfect 🌳☀️
The barista was so calm, friendly and patient. She made everything on her own (made the coffee, took the orders and served to the table and packed the to go bags). And all that with a long waiting row, still remaining super relaxed and friendly! Wow! 🙌🏽

I went to Kaf, which is a vegan cafe in Nørrebro, serving bakery goods & breakfast/brunch. They had a really good array of vegan cakes & pastries. I tried a cardamom pastry, hazelnut tart & their chai latte. Nice place to visit if in Copenhagen and quite a cool area.

We went to Kaf for Brunch. They offer sourdough buns with different toppings, yoghurt with homemade granola, a grilled cheese sandwich and different pastries and cakes. We tried the granola, a sourdough bun with cheese, avocado, whipped butter and hazelnut spread, as well as a cardamom bun and an almond chocolate croissant. To drink I had a freshly pressed juice and a chai latte Everything was really good, I liked especially the pastries as well as the chai, which was homebrewed. They had also really good looking cakes in the counter. Unfortunately it was really expensive, even for danish standards.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück! - Edit
Ich habe in diesem Café gefrühstückt und bin mit der Auswahl super klargekommen. Ich habe allerdings nicht das gesamte Frühstück bestellt, sondern nur einen Joghurt und ein Käse Sandwich, das aber sehr sehr lecker war und der Preis hat sich deswegen auch gelohnt. Zudem sind die Preise für Kopenhagen sehr angemessen. Bei dem Getränk sollte man sich jedoch überlegen, ob man so viel für ein bisschen Fruchtsaft ausgeben möchte. Ansonsten kann man auch einfach auf das kostenlose Trinkwasser zurückgreifen.
