Buen bar de pintxos! - Edit
Es uno de los pocos bares de pintxos en el casco viejo de Bilbo que ofrece gran variedad vegana. Incluso tortilla! Buen ambiente y servicio.

This place has some good vegan options. The vegan croquetas were good, just greasy which is to be expected I guess. The bokata vegetal was good.

The place had a cool vibe and there are plenty of vegan options to choose from. The staff is very friendly (prefers to speak Spanish though) and it's a nice place to chill for a bit.

Qué buen Bokata - Edit
Muuuuchas opciones veganas a elegir. Probamos las croquetas de setas y el bokata vegano de cebolla confitada, setas, nueces y calabacín. Tan bueno que lo vamos a incorporar en casa como opción de una salida al campo. Trato muy agradable. El local es un tanto alternativo pero está bien. Muy recomendable.

El K2 es uno de los sitios no veganos con más opciones veganas de Bilbao. Siempre tienen 4-5 pintxos (el de heura con pimientos está brutal), algo de dulce, y también una carta (para pedir cuando la cocina está abierta) que incluye hamburguesas, bocatas, tempura, patatas... Un sitio donde comer vegano variado y a buen precio.

My husband has known this place for decades, but I only recently discovered it. They have a huge vegan Pintxo section and, to my surprise, an amazing vegan tortilla. Like, I had to triple check that it was vegan because it tasted so much like its non vegan counterpart. AmaZing 🥰

El local está en una zona con mucho ambiente y céntrico. El bar tiene muy buen rollo, queríamos ir de pintxos, algo que siendo veganos es complicado, y aquí tienen bastantes opciones de pintxos veganos que están súper ricos. También tienen una carta amplia de opciones veganas: varias hamburguesas y bocadillos, nachos, nuggets... Sin duda, lo mejor es la tortilla vegana que tienen.

I was very happily surprised with this place. They have an entire Vegan side of the menu, and a whole assortment of vegan pintxos and bocadillos. Everything was delicious. I especially like the torta de patata, and bocadillo with mushrooms, tofu and eggplant. We bought 5 different things (including two slices of that potato pie) and it came out to only 12 euros. The woman who served us was very happy to point out the large display of vegan sandwiches on their counter. Highly recommended!

Parada obligatoria en Bilbao. Desde la última vez que estuve han ampliado la sección vegana tanto en pintxos como en platos principales. Pedí para compartir con un amigo 2 bocadillos: uno de verduras a la plancha con queso vegano y nueces (el nº1) y otro de nopollo (el nº5). Ambos de buen tamaño y a buen precio.

Es uno de mis bares favoritos del casco viejo. Es muy amplio, por lo que siempre hay sitio, y los camareros son muy amables. Tiene una amplia barra de pintxos con bastantes opciones veganas y vegetarianas. También sirven bocatas y hamburguesas; para mí la más rica es la de lentejas. Read moreWith this in mind, lemme say that their Spanish omelette was delicious, and I've been told that their bokatas are fairly priced and indulgent. That said what I ordered was disappointing at best.
The veggie tempura was store bought, I could see them handling the frozen bag with the same brand I use at home and its pretty cheap and greasy. The nuggets I had I also buy at home. It's a good brand, but the price was multiplied. You have to pay for sauce to dip and they were so oily.
So in the end I had a very good pintxo and two things I can buy at home cheaper and less greasy. I didn't like my experience at K2 but maybe I was just unlucky. If I ever come back I'll revisit the score.

Nice place with lots of seating inside. Has a selection of vegan pintxos that change daily and the menu includes many clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options including bokatas and burgers. Definitely must try the vegan tortilla de patatas!!

We had three pintxos, and they were just ok. (Tortilla, falafeles, mini hamburguesa) A bit oily and just overall underwhelming. If there’s nothing else, you can eat here, but otherwise, I’d go elsewhere.

They had a good amount of vegan options and it wasnt too expensive either. I enjoyed the atmosphere and can totally recommend this bar. I was pretty excited about the vegan tortilla!
