Amazing juice

The food was delicious and everything including the juice was made to order!

THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!

The food is amazing. We know that when one looks for a vegan restaurant in an unfamiliar town, it can be hard to find a good menu with great food. Well, here it is!
We were in town for the night and flying out the next day. Vegan Strangers in town. Oh! no!
We searched Happy Cow and found ourselves outside looking into this restaurant very close to closing time.
We went in and found such amazing food.
Owner explained the food options with pride.
We both picked a bowl mine was BBQ and Hubby had one with walnut meet.
Both were excellent.
We will be back whenever we fly in or out of Philly.
Please come to the Delaware Beaches area and open Gangster Vegan near us.
Thank you!

Pros: All vegan, Great juices, Great food

Cons: Parking is tricky , Restaurant is no frills but who cares

Needs atmosphere..

Had the sweet potato. Was enjoyed. Would love to see this place put some effort into the dine in experience and maybe see a smile.....

Great Bowls

Very tasty. Met the new owner who was very helpful. The grand re-opening is January 4 2020 but we will definitely be back.

Pros: Totally vegan, Fresh food and juices and desserts

Cons: Could use more “ambiance”

Great lunch stop on our road trip

Family and I found Gangster Vegan in Happy Cow while driving home from VA. We had a great healthy lunch that didn’t weigh us down for the rest of the trip.

Pros: The juices are superb!, Big salads and bowls! , Fast service and decent bathroom for travelers!

Cons: The prices add up, so watch out!, Desserts were just ok.

I was so excited! But...

I was so excited to try this place because there are not too many vegan options in the area. I got the broccoli burger and it was just not my taste...and it was so difficult to eat. It was also served cold which I didn't expect. Also, the bread is not bread it's more the consistency of matzo. I rarely get heartburn and I had it so bad after eating that. I'm sure the other things on the menu are good! I'd like to try them. I just will not be getting either of the burgers again.

Large, tasty portions

“Bowls” are large portions. Walnut taco “meat” is very good. Fresh and tasty options. I think healthy omnis would like, too!!

Yippee it’s finally here!

Been trying to get them here for 2 years. Tasty healthy organic vegan reasonably priced food. This is how I want to eat! And if you do takeout, they use compostable containers. This is so awesome for Media! It is not all raw, but even the bowls that have rice, quinoa, beans or sweet potatoes are mostly salad.

Pros: Organic and vegan, Healthy and tasty, Very reasonably priced

Great spot — definitely worth checking out

I got the taco salad, definitely one of the best salads I’ve had. I could eat it every day. I was impressed with the food, the juice, the service, and the overall vibe of the place. Definitely reccomend it if you’re looking for a healthy option.

I was disappointed

I looked forward to this opening since I saw their sign. Hadn’t been to any of the other locations, but I was bored of what little Media has to offer a vegetarian seeking healthier options and a salad not containing cheapy iceburg lettuce. The photos of the website are colorful and make the food appear appealing.

I ordered the beet burger and it was just awful. I like the idea of something besides a roll holding a sandwhich together, but the onion patty thing they use as bread doesn’t hold up well; just breaks up and the sandwhich guts fall out. The dried beet patty was unedible. It had a harsh taste to it similiar to burnt food. It was hard enough I was able to pick it up and tap it on the bowl to make a thunking sound without it breaking. Should have saved it and sent it to Gritty. Two of the employees said the sauce is supposed to soften it. The sauce on my burger was on the onion ‘bread’ and there wasn’t much of it so I don’t understand how the sauce would soften the dried beet burger.

My friend ordered the broccoli burger without any sauce and it was soft. It tasted okay but neither of us would go for it again.

The best thing I can say about this place is they don’t crank out music like most other eateries. They had music playing but it was not overwhelming. You could still have a conversation. I also like there are paper towels in the bathroom. I hate washing my hands and not having a towel with which to dry off and use to open the door to exit. They did some work on the bathroom but I feel more attention could have been done with opening a new eatery. It is an effective bathroom but you can judge how a kitchen is run and it’s cleanliness based on a restaurant’s attention to their bathrooms.

Amazing!!!

We all know there’s A lot of Health benefits in eating a Organic plant-based diet, but I didn’t realize that eating Vegan could taste so good! Gangster vegan makes it fast and easy to get a healthy breakfast on the go! Now eating healthy doesn’t have to be a chore!

Pros: Organic, Reasonably priced , Fun environment and friendly staff
