Tasty snacks - Edit
They had a variety of seeds and nut snacks that I purchased. All seemed to use rice syrup - I scanned 5 packets. I purchased a few different types and the first 2 i’ve tried were tasty and not too sweet. Each packet was just under 5,000 won so not that cheap.

Affordable tasty vegan snacks in Busan - Edit
Located in the Shinsegae between gwangalli and haeundae at the food court is Joseon snack, they offer nice affordable (10k won for 6 buns) steamed buns with different fillings.

Surprisingly good Anko bao! - Edit
I was there checking some shops and I stumbled in this little spot. At first I thought that they only sell bread type buns so only bought one.
Read moreMy surprise came when I realized they were stuffed with Anko (which I love). Ended up buying couple more for the next days.
They also have a shop more in the center of the city. Worth a visit specially if you like Anko.

Great to find this vegan snack in the mall. I had the black rice bun with red bean paste in the middle, and the mugwort bun with dried fruit and seeds.

Cheap and delicious food, and very easy to locate in the food court. I would recommend trying both the buns with and without red bean paste!

It was nice to find a vegan option in the food court of Shinsegae department store. They sell both buns with red bean paste and without. I took the one without and was surprised by a bun with nuts and berries which tasted great!

I first discovered Joseon Snack last year during the Busan film festival and I was so happy to find these delicious buns!! They have many flavors, with and without red bean paste, and the woman working is so very kind! I was recently back in Busan and just had to stop at the mall to get some more of these bc they’re so good! I just checked out their Instagram and it looks like they also have a store in Gwangan with even more snacks so I will be sure to find it on my next trip.
