Cafe in The Botanical Gardens

This charming cafe is inside the The Botanical Gardens, offering indoor and outdoor seating. They have a separate vegan menu. I chose from the specials board, having an oat banana chair and spiced chickpea & lentil soup, both of which were delicious!

Separate vegan menu, good food!

We visited for breakfast/brunch but good looking menus for all meals. Separate vegan menu is a good size and full range of plant based milks for coffee, etc.

Extensive vegan menu

A real find, difficult to choose from dedicated vegan menu. Also have a vegan sausage roll and the biggest vegan flapjack I have ever seen! Popular, allows dogs inside, large outside area.

Pros: So much choice, Very tasty, Nicely presented

Cons: 50p for oat milk

Firm fave

This is my favourite Joni's! I've been to 3 of them and I always go back to this one. I'm not sure what's different but the dishes are not just prettier, they are also tastier (which makes no sense because they should be the same!).
This particular branch gets quite busy, especially when the weather is nice and lots of people visit the Botanical Gardens, so a reservation is helpful. But all the food I've eaten here has been excellent.

Great food!

Breakfast bagel is fantastic! Unfortunately can get very busy which results in long wait times - the last time I went I waited around 20 minutes for 2 takeaway coffees
