OMG ya’ll!!! Today was my lucky day for sure!! I discovered JMT VEGAN Eats who JUST opened off Indian River Road in Virginia Beach!!! They serve FOUR course vegan dinners nightly and it was absolutely over the top deeeeelicious!!! The four course meals are 50 bucks but big enough to feed TWO hungry vegans for sure!!! Tonight’s main course was Salisbury Steak and gravy and it was dynomite!!! Sweet family-run vegan mobile pop up. I found it randomly when searching this area and I’m so glad I did! Best vegan fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It was literally massive. A bit pricey but I love supporting a local, vegan, family-run business when I can. And the donuts are delish, too!

This place has amazing staff and just as good food. I’m always interested to try different places’ vegan omelets, which sometimes end up just being gross, but this one was fantastic! They use a lot of better veg-meat products like Beyond and Impossible meats. We also got the Reuben which was really good. They have a variety of baked goods too. Definitely support this place!

I'm not even gonna hold yall. If you are the 757. GO NOW. This Banana nut bread SLAPS. So good I had to sit down to savor every bit. I mean the brownies slap, the cinnamon rolls slap, The Reuben SLAPS. She makes a Strawberry shortcake that SLAPS. I have yet to try something I did not like. Most important. Even when I was looking at getting another treat, I told the owner how I was about to start a raw challenge and she gave me the most honest advice. Talk about integrity and love. We had the sausage burrito (added JustEgg) and the French toast brunch special.
French toast was a hit for a typical pancake only fan! The grits had texture and seasoned well. The burrito was filled with veggies, beyond sausage, potatoes and cheese. It was everything- even came with salsa!
We got some sweets for the road - 2 cookies, cinnamon roll and a slice of chocolate chip sweet bread.
Needless to say, we will be back! What a gem in Chesapeake.

So today we dined in at JMT Sweets & More for brunch (formally the location of "pie.". We were NOT disappointed and will definitely be regular patrons in the future.
The Morris Family were a pleasure to talk to, offered quality service and were attentive to their customers. The establishment was clean and frequently sanitized. Service was prompt and food was hot!
We had their brunch #1- French toast, tofu scramble, Beyond sausage ... # 2 - Fully loaded omelette with hash browns ... Tuna sandwich, iced coffee, strawberry banana juice, cinnamon buns. Everything was DIVINE and you could tell it was fresh, made to order and the bread is HOMEMADE. You CANNOT beat homemade bread on a sandwich or French toast.
The portions were huge and prices were amazing! As a former patron of Egg Bistro before going vegan, WE ALL APPROVE and are more than happy with our choices! An assortment platter of pastries and desserts were taken to go.

Definitely my go to when I need to satisfy my "sweet tooth"!!! They have the most amazing cinnamon buns (i.e. regular, strawberry, & blueberry flavors) that I have ever tasted!!
