Pretty good vegetarian option near NTHU

I always go for the rice bowls here. Not usually a fan of fried food but their tempura veggies are good, too. They serve very nice ice cold green tea as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality. A few vegan options clearly marked.

Pros: Vegan option near NTHU

Cons: Often menu items sold out

Tasty & quite healthy

Easy to find Japanese-style restaurant. Vegetarian and meals containing milk or/and egg are clearly identified on the menu. I had the 180$ udon noodles. It was good, although not the best udon I’ve had. Still, it does the job when you’re hungry :) if I stayed in Hsinchu I would go back :) staff is nice and there is an English menu.

Pros: Tasty , Modern, Quick service

Cons: Opening hours

Nice Japanese Style Food

I've been to this restaurant a number of times and have generally had positive experiences. The menu is not overly extensive, and is further reduced due to many of the dishes containing milk & eggs (which are at least clearly marked). Having sampled a number of the available dishes, my favourites are the Taiwan-style kimchi cold noodles & rice - both are delicious. The only bad meal I've had here was a soy milk noodle soup, which was completely flavourless. There is a reasonable range of appetisers to choose from, the fried tofu with wasabi powder being my favourite. The restaurant interior is nice & modern, and contributes to a positive dining experience. Worth a visit.

Pros: Nicely furnished restaurant, Delicious kimchi

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options
