tasteful budget food, great staff - Edit
You can ask the staff for a menu with the vegan items marked by them, which is indispensible for ordering.
Read morei recommend trying the 'medicinal' menu items at least once.

Simple and filling - Edit
I came here on my first night in Hsinchu. Typical vegetarian buffet style, located just outside NTHU campus. Food is simple and filling for a cheap veggie meal. Vegetarian meat wasn't great but I can't complain for a few pounds for a plate of food.

I’ve been here several times. Food is very oily and salty. Probably the best thing I’ve ordered is the noodles. If nothing else is open this place will do, but there are better options for vegans nearby.

Zwo Zi Shu offers a lot of vegetarian/vegan Taiwanese cuisines. They have a lot of vegetable dishes, vegan/vegetarian steaks and noodles, rice to choose from.
