Excellent place for vegans and veggies to eat out! - Edit
We love dropping into Jimmy's as Marie and her team are such sweethearts. We always eat well and at a good price. My husband is vegan and I don't eat a lot of meat. I prefer to be mostly vegetarian. I regularly eat vegan food, though. Jimmy's does a really great full menu of vegan food. Not just one or maybe two dishes max., which is what you will (let's face it, even in 2021, HOPE to) find in a restaurant in Spain. I know that Jimmy's is very popular with those who are on plant-based regimes. Staff are smiley and welcoming and the place is clean and well positioned front line to the water. If you are not a vegan or veggie they also have a menu of traditional dishes. Come on down and see what you have been missing!

Delicious and suitable for everyone! - Edit
This nice tapasbar in La Duquesa is not only vegan friendly, but also suitable for meat and fish lovers. They offer many options for vegan tapas, regular sized dishes, salads and desserts. The cocktails taste good and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely rate this restaurant with 5 stars if it’d be possible.

Fui hasta el puerto de La Duquesa sin muchas expectativas de encontrar algo decente, y al encender el Happy Cow me topé con esta joya! Maravilloso restaurante, decoración... Éramos seis y probamos TODAS las tapas, y ninguna me decepcionó. Especialmente me gustaron las alitas de coliflor, las palomitas de brócoli y los poppers. También pedimos un Kebab, hamburguesa y ensalada de seitán. La hamburguesa de peas of heaven que todavía es poco conocida aquí. Hablamos un rato largo con la dueña y salimos de ahí rodando y felices 😊

A great place with friendly staff, only reason they are not given 4 stars is that my son had to wait an awful long time before his food was served and another little bump with my order. However, they gave us his meal for free.

Great food, vegan and gluten free options! - Edit
Great little place on the marina. Very friendly and attentive staff and the chef made a great effort and clearly enjoyed cooking. Food was lovely, especially the wraps which are sime of the best vegan and gluten free we've had on the costa del Sol. Will be back!

The app won’t let me give it 5 stars as it’s not fully vegan 😩 this place was friendly, fun and food so tasty. It allowed me to dine with non vegan family although they mainly had vegan anyway as it’s so good. Owner has two vegan sons and wants to do more vegan. Vegan breakfast was wonderful.

An absolute must for any vegans in the area. We dropped in for a quick bite to eat and had the vegan tapas - great value, the best tapas we have ever had. We had massaman curry, seitan, bombay potatoes, jackfruit and lastly vegan meatballs all cooked to perfection in their own sauce. Lovely staff, lovely place, lovely lication overlooking the marina - we could not fault it. The chef came out and had a quick chat too. Highly recommended!

Abundant choices of vegan food - Edit
Jimmy’s kitchen serve a variety of vegan and vegetarian food, sides, and desserts. The chef has a lot of knowledge and experience in the vegan domain and he and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars if the site let me. 100% recommend to any vegans around or people who want to try good vegan food.

Awesome new vegan menu - Edit
Jimmy’s got off to a slow start with their vegan selections but recently have added an entirely separate vegan menu with loads of tasty dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are such lovely people, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced and their vegan clientele have increased dramatically. I’ve had the mushroom stroganoff, the jackfruit tacos and the vegan roast beef dinner and will be back to try many more of their dishes. Highly recommended!

Staff (Sarah) very friendly and the restaurant is clean and modern. A little oasis in amongst all the usual fayre around the beautiful marina. I had the Brussel bites with garlic and onion, mushroom stroganoff and lemon drizzle cake. All really good! Seriously, don’t miss it if you are in the area.

Amazing HUGE new menu - Edit
I was amazed when I gave this restaurant a second shot and realised they an entire vegan menu along their meat menu! Yes! FULL menu with starters, mains and deserts! They are also now opened for dinner whereas before it was just in the day. I had mushroom stroganoff, buffalo cauliflower, sweet potato fries, brussel sprouts bites. All very good! I recommend if you're around Duquesa port ☺️

The owner Maria just launched a separate full vegan menu to the regular menu. I tried mushroom stroganoff, meatball pasta and loaded potato skins (not all on same night!) Perfect portion size. Lovely flavours. Great menu choice. Desserts. Wonderful view of the port. Friendly service.

Judging by the past reviews, this place has really had a turnaround! Lots of vegan options very friendly staff. Could not fault it. All breakfast items came with FREE tea coffee! The Acai bowl and Vegan breakfast were 10/10

Not a great experience - Edit
Was excited to try this restaurant as it openly stated it had vegan pancakes, and on happy cow it also mentioned a vegan juices and smoothies. When we arrived we told the waiter we were vegan and asked for what options were vegan, in reply we were told that they “didn’t know”, so we ordered a cold pressed juice and the vegan pancakes, we were then informed that there were no vegan pancakes available, and would we have just regular pancakes, we politely declined and asked what smoothies were vegan, initially we were told by the waiter that all the smoothies were vegan as they were just fruit, but I told her that some mentioned yogurt and cream so I asked if she could check, after some time the waiter returned informing us that all of the smoothies contained whey protein so were not vegan, which is not what happy cow states on the restaurant page. If you manage to get the vegan pancakes I’m sure you will enjoy them, but just be aware that the service is very poor and unhelpful, and none of the smoothies are vegan.

I was so discouraged because it was so difficult to find any restaurants in this town with vegan options. Jimmy’s kitchen is a wonderful spot in the busy promenade.
