Terrible - Edit
The food took along time to come out . We were the only ones there. My burger was small and bland, the wrap was cold and when we told them that, they looked at us with the ‘what is the problem’ look .

Also a bit on the pricey side

Lovely and tasty! - Edit
Lots of food options, friendly staff, and all of the food was very tasty! We will definitely go back again. FYI - The sign on the front says "JAI Jagannath", probably a branch of Little Govinda's or something.

Delicious vegan Indian curry - Edit
Restaurant is little gem from street. They have two floors. On second floor theres more silency to sit and eat.
Read moreI asked vegan dishes and waiter speak good english and explained what dishes, breads are vegan friendly. He asked also about how spicy we would like to get our dishes.
I took Aloo bread and Aloo masala curry and we shared one dish of Jeera rice together(it was big!).
My partner took Butter naan and Paneer Butter masala.
Both of us were very happy that there were not music on second floor and were nice eat without noise of fans or music. Food were delicious and portions were big.
One favorite restaurants for sure!❤️

Hot - Edit
No air con and in a little alley so there wasn’t really air flow at all. They did turn on the fan, but it didn’t help much. I would not recommend the falafel burger. Taste was fine but the texture was awful. Fruit shakes were good though.

International variety, great fruit smoothies - Edit
We got some chana masala and a wrap with soy chunks in it - it wasn't really clear when we ordered and chose three sauces for the wrap, but they all went into the wrap rather than on the side. It made for a slightly weird combination but the food was overall still good. The passion fruit smoothie I got was my favorite out of all the passion fruit drinks I tried in Krabi - a really good ratio of passion fruit juice to ice/water!

Good options - Edit
Everything clearly labelled if it’s vegan or not, got the wrap and it was quite filling and tasty, think it is on the pricier range but staff are very friendly and it was quiet so definitely support a veggie restaurant!

Filling wraps - Edit
The wraps were all freshly made and came with salad and then your choice of 3 sauces. The vegan ones were clearly labelled on the menu. Very tasty and filling! Recommend for a lunch!

Just okay - Edit
It's always really nice finding a veggie place. This one isn't fully vegan but they have plenty of vegan options and can veganise other things.
Read moreThe portions are surprisingly small given the prices. Food took a long time to come out. Staff didn't seem particularly friendly. There was a group of staff sitting at a table chatting, while kids ran in and out shouting. It felt a bit like I'd interrupted a family gathering and felt a bit uncomfortable.
As I said, glad to find a veggie spot but it's not one I'd visit again in Ao Nang while there are other choices.

Great burger! - Edit
Was happy to stumble across Little Govindas. I felt like something different other than Thai and Indian food as I stayed here a while. The vegan burger was perfect. Small but enjoyable, fresh. They also have vegan cheese for their pizzas. Nice to be at a veg/vegan restaurant.

Had a pretty huge menu with loads of Indian curry options and global food like pizza, burgers and falafel wraps. I had the falafel wrap which was filling but not super flavourful

Fabulous food that made me a very happy cow! - Edit
When I walked into Govindas cafe, I said, “baby, you (the café) could be in Southern California and a big hit!” What a fabulous fully vegan spot, with a green-house terrace roof dining area which is air conditioned. To boot there is the most sexy, seated-on-the-floor cushion yogi-style dining spot for the hungry hari Krishna in you!
Read moreGo, go, go Little Govindas ! Love it. “Gimme, gimme, gimme,” (sung ala ABBA with a twist in lyrics) my very vegan lunch …
Little Govindas is the new kid on the Ao Nong dining block. It has a café feel unlike its elder Govindas brother - a proper full dining restaurant just up the street.
The charming restaurant manager/ chef’s recommendation are: Vegetable pakora for starters. Paneer tikka (grilled cottage cheese) paneer malai tikka (cottage cheese with peppers and tomatoes), jafreezi (a spicey vegetable stew similar to a ratatouille), dahl tarka. For drinks I recommend the mango lassi (utterly delicious, fresh and refreshing), the Ao Nong sunset smoothie and the perfectly brewed masala chai which was an excellent way to end my spectacular vegan meal.
For dessert go for the muffins and the gulab jamuns, I was told.
Little Govindas meals have an easy going “save the planet” feel as does this cosy café restaurant overall. Fully prepared dishes are from produce sourced from a fresh farmer’s markets in the Ao Nong area by an Indian Myanmese chef. Non-diary soy or nut milk is used and it is a dining operation that prides itself on being fully vegan/vegetarian. This spot serves no alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises. Opening times: 11am to 10pm.
Pros: Atmosphere , Food, Staff
Cons: Nothing at all, Nothing at all , Nothing at all

Ok restaurant - Edit
Really wanted to like this place more. Staff is very nice and the menu is varied. We ordered two wraps for takeaway. Although tasted good , they weren't rolled, just hardly folded and couldn't be held by hand to eat without the filling coming out all over the place. Also, the price is on the higher side, but I wouldn't mind it if everything was right.

mixed feelings… - Edit
We were here three times. First time was good. Food was great. Tasty indian food. Second time we waited a long time and they said couple times that they don’t have some portions. After a long time we got some food. They said that if we come some other day they would have those portions that they didn’t had that time. Third time we were hoping for those things that we didn’t get the second time. They didn’t have those things so we ended up to go to another restaurant.

Disappointment - Edit
We ate there two times in our stay in Krabi. First time was good. We ate some indian foods and they were good. Second time we tried to order many things and they didn’t tell us that they ran out of them. We waited 20 minutes and then they came to tell us that they don’t have the spesific food. And the same thing happened again. They didn’t tell us what they still have when I asked. I can’t recommend this place unfortunately.

OK Indian Restaurant with vegetarian & vegan food. - Edit
Many vegan options, staff is friendly and very helpful. I had a very good Sandwich and a quite boring empanada. All in all I would always recommend to Walk 10 minutes up the street and eat at Plant-Erian.

Disappointing - Edit
Ordered a veg jalfrezi, sauce was fine but the vegetables used were clearly all frozen vegetables from a bag. My dad had the margherita pizza, which again looked like it had just been reheated from frozen. My mum had the daal soup, which was bland and kinda sad. Shame as the service was lovely, but we had been to multiple michelin star places in thailand which were about half the price as the dinner here.

Disappointing after a good experience on Railay - Edit
After going to their restaurant on Railay Beach for lunch, I came here for dinner and was left disappointed.
Read moreEverything is more expensive here than on Railay, even though Railay is the remote location. I got the vegan burger that started tough to bite and finished inedible.
I took the back half up to the counter and I could not break the remaining half disc in my hand. I then hit the plate with it like a hockey puck, literally a scene out of a TV show with how badly it was cooked.
I got the nugget burger as a replacement, because surely you can't mess up a nugget, right? Turns out it is literally just 3 nuggets in a bun, and drowned in sauce
Really, I should have just left to find somewhere else. Extremely disappointed after a really good experience at Railay.
Cons: Expensive, Poorly cooked

Fully vegetarian and vegan friendly - Edit
I’m glad to see fully vegetarian restaurant in Thailand. It’s extremely vegan friendly. Samosa was amazing but rest was okiesh. We tried Jalfarzi curry with laccha parata, and it was not that great. Kulcha was quite nice. Quality and taste could be improved. Saw many people leaving the place but nobody bothered to attend them. Service is also a bit slow. All in all, I would still recommend it for vegans and vegetarians, but pick the dishes wisely. The whole menu is Jain friendly.

Alright - Edit
The food is okay. The vegetables in both dishes we had were the same - peas, corn, carrot, green beans. The dishes looked kinda different from what we got. We had jalfrezi and biryani, the latter tasted like it had butter in it but the chef came and told us they use vegan butter.
