Great izakaya experience - Edit
We had a bit of (almost) everything. My favorite were the deep fried maitake and green bean tempura. Also enjoyed the Szechuan pickles which match well with the lemon and grapefruit sours.

Would consider moving to Tokyo just to eat here again lol - Edit
The food here was incredible- the karaage perfect and mapo tofu so delicious. We also had the tempura green beans and gyoza. We got to the restaurant around 5:15pm and ended up waiting until 6:30pm but it was worth the wait!

Awesome Karage - Edit
Located in the foodhall/basement of the building. We were lucky to get seated right away cause there are only a few seats. Easy order via QR Code and friendly staff. The karage was awesome, very nice texture - we had to order a second time!

Great for a quick bite - Edit
This is a small café in a food hall that has multiple vegan options. It’s cheap and cheerful - just what you need when out shopping. The plates have ‘vegan’ printed on them, so you’re clear what you’re getting.

The karage dishes are amazing, the textura is unbelievable. The staff is super friendly and is great that you can order through a QR code, makes everything smoothly. The mushrooms deep-fried are a must. Overall amazing place is worth the waiting. Really small place.

A must if visiting Tokyo. - Edit
We went here for dinner on Saturday night but got there too late! There was a huge line and last orders are at 9pm.
Read moreWe came back Sunday for lunch and were not disappointed. The "chicken" karaage was next level some of the best vegan chicken I've ever eaten. Likewise the gyoza. Served with pickles and soup and perfect with Japanese beer or a grapefruit sour.

Juicy delicious Karage - Edit
The best vegan karaage i‘ve ever had! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also the texture was very meaty. If it wasn’t an all vegan menu and vegan print on the plates i would have been suspicious! Yuzu pepper sauce was creamy and light.
Read moreI also ordered the cucumber dish as an appetizer which was very aromatic and fresh. Would come again 💞
I had to wait quite a bit but it was worth it.
When super busy they might not let anymore costumers in before the estimated time of closure.
In the mall basement B1. It’s a bit hidden in a corner on your way to the escalator.

Post-Lunch - Edit
Went there after 15h, so couldn’t get the lunch-menu (not sure if it would have made a difference). The food was good but also nothing special, so for the price (still cheaper for European standards) I was a little disappointed. Staff is super friendly, and if you’re looking for a place that makes it easy as a foreigner, this is it!

Traditional Japanese food in Shibuya - Edit
My mother and I shared fried mushrooms, gyozas and tempura. The side dishes were good, however I believe that the portions were a bit on the smaller side (especially if you are hungry after a long walk around Shibuya😉). I believe they serve bigger meals during lunch hours and not only side dishes.

Lunchtime Pick Me Up - Edit
This restaurant is in the basement level of Shibuya Parco, which is great because after battling the crowds in some of the stores, you need to recharge. This izakaya is a perfect spot to do; I was there during lunch so the options were limited, but the karage and gyoza I had were delicious. The karage in particular was so tender and eerily close to the texture of actual chicken. I hope to return to try the dinner options sometime!

Some of the most tender vegan meat - Edit
Legitimately some of the most tender and moist vegan meat I’ve ever had. The flavours are delicious for the karage. We got the yuzu & pepper flavour which was delicious. We also got dumplings, also yummy, and mapo eggplant & tofu which had some an amazing flavour. Big recommend as it is yummy and super cheap!

All Vegan Izakaya - Edit
My friend recommended me Masala in Shibuya. Good experience, I ordered Karaage with Spicy Sichuan mala sauce, a little bit so spice for me, that I will try lemon one or Yuzu pepper mayo next time. And I'll come here lunch time and order lunch set, which includes Dumplings and Karaage.
