It's ok - Edit
Had a taco salad with tofu added. Would have been better if the tofu was cooked. They poured the sauce on top of the tofu and added that too the taco salad bowl.

Great service, family run, fully Vegan Aware - Edit
Ate here twice on our visit to Kauai. Both positive experiences; great, friendly customer service. Beans & rice both vegan (FYI- beans have a smoke flavor, no meat involved). Tofu burrito is very delicious with a cilantro-lime sauce, cabbage, onions, rice, etc. Relieved to find some good vegan Mexican food close by!

Decent vegan meal - Edit
We just had the vegan tacos and burritos, and didn't find them tasteless or greasy. It's true they don't provide water, but you can grab a cab of beer at Whalers and bring it in. Yes, guacamole would have been nice. All in all, a satisfactory filing truly vegan meal.

Cons: not incredible ambience, but it is in a mall, No tap water- bring your own beverage

Lots of choice but not tasty - Edit
We have a burrito with tofu but the tofu didn't taste of anything. The beans and the rice were very good so maybe if you have it without the tofu it would have been better. Does not let you have tap water, instead you have to buy bottled water which I will not do and for not agree with so this was a big negative for me

Cons: Not tasty , Does not allow tap water.

Greasy, not flavorful - Edit
The people working are nice, and they have vegan options. That’s where the good news ends for me.
Read moreWe got a whole size of the tofu burrito with ranchero seasoning. It comes with a side of rice and decried beans. There’s so much oil dripping out of the foil and burrito that it covers your fingers and hand. It’s pretty gross.
I can put up with greasy if the flavors are awesome, I love diner food, burgers, etc. But the burrito was strangely flavorless. We could taste no real saltiness, punch from the salsa, or citrus flavor. There’s no guac, either, which would have added some much needed freshness to the gut bomb of the burrito.
I can’t imagine getting this as a chimichanga and how oily that would be. In general the Hawaii Mexican food seems to be pretty poor for vegans.

The refried beans were vegan!! - Edit
I got a vegan tofu taco which was delicious, also ordered refried beans which were vegan which is rare! Staff seemed annoyed with my vegan questions but food was great.

They veganized a burrito for me and it was delicious. Portions are generous, service is attentive and delivered with a smile. I was very grateful to have this option nearby.

great vegan chimichanga! - Edit
Located in a shopping area within walking distance from the Sheraton. Walked here several times during our stay. Delicious food!! Retried beans and rice is all vegan. Several different tofu flavors, staff is super helpful and when I requested tofu they automatically asked if we were vegan. Home made tortillas and chips. Next door to gelato places with 10 vegan gelatos!

Great food & service! - Edit
There are tofu options but we decided to get the classic burrito minus the meat and dairy. The lady at the counter said they even have a vegan button to add to any item so they make it vegan. The refried beans are vegan. After we ordered she came over to our table and said she couldn't give us the green sauce because her boss said it had eggs and butter. So they replaced it with cilantro and lime. We also got a large chips and salsa and it was a very large portion and the hot salsa was really good!

Cons: A bit pricey for a burrito but this is Hawai'i.

Good tofu burrito - Edit
This is a cute little restaurant in a shopping area. The counter person said the manager is vegan and she showed us a paper menu marked up indicating which items are vegan or vegetarian.
Read moreI had the tofu burrito with lime cilantro sauce. The tofu seemed to be raw without too much flavor on its own but it tasted good when I added the salsa it came with. It included tasty dirty rice. The full burrito is pretty large and I took 1/2 to-go.
The counter person was very attentive and friendly and checked in with us several times. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice breeze.
Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff

tasty, pricey - Edit
Tourist prices times island prices, but they have a menu marked up for vegans, and the tofu burrito was legitimately great.
