They clearly advertise their vegan option. You have 3 choices of flavour and can choose your size and level of spice. There are some extra toppings on the table too, garlic flakes, chili flakes, Szechuan pepper, and chili oil. I wasn't sure if the chili oil was vegan, it had a paste base so I played it safe.
Read moreBut it's a good amount of food, size 1 was good for a hungry woman, size 1.5 for a hungry man. They spoke decent English and were very friendly. They checked 3x if we were sure we wanted the maximum spice level, haha, but by Indian or Mexican standards that was about a 7/10. The place is small. We came about 10 mins after they opened and needed to wait for someone to leave, but turnover is pretty quick. And all very cheap, 2.5 total servings plus 2 alcoholic drinks came out to 2700¥.

Wish I could give 5 (app won’t let me because it not fully vegan) - but they do have a fully vegan menu, build your own or choose from some suggestions. They have a menu in English too. Family that run this place were beyond helpful and friendly. The food was amazing value. I got the large size and it was 950yen and too much food. Totally delicious and such a great find!! Thanks happy cow!! Oh and search on maps yourself as address seems off in this app

Had red pepper mazemen for lunch. In my opinion, it's not easy to come across broth-less noodles in Tokyo. You can select your preferred level of spiciness from 1 to 6 and customize your noodles with additional seasonings.

This was the best food I’ve had in Japan. I’ve always made my ramen at home with minimal broth, so it was very validating to see it’s an actual thing. Add some rice at the end and it’s perfection.
Read moreThey have 3 vegan flavors: black pepper, red pepper, and curry. You can have it hot or cold. If you choose curry, you can pick your spice level. It is all clearly laid out in the English menu. I had curry level 1 and my wife had black pepper. Both were fantastic.
The cook and server both spoke English very well and were incredibly friendly and kind. Give them a heartfelt ‘oishi’ and see them light up. They were wonderful.
I went 3 times (I loved it that much) and the food was amazing every time. It was also super cheap. I got a beer, a double portion of noodles, and a side of rice for 1500 yen.

Clear sign outside stating that no animal products are used in the vegan option. There is one vegan base option with three flavors and all can be hot or cold. We asked for no mushrooms in one due to allergies and they automatically replaced it with more or the other toppings. The “regular” size was pretty large. I added chili oil and garlic chips to mine for a bit more pop of flavor and it was a very good meal.

You can tell the owners care deeply about the quality of the food they serve by how it's prepared and presented. There's an English menu and customization of three delicious mazeman dishes (essentially ramen without broth). They can do takeout but costs an extra 100 yen for the container.
