Delicious Vegetable Tempura - Edit
We had a delicious dinner. Shared some meals. Tasy vegatable tempura. 😍 They use food that otherwise would go to waste.

Great concept - Edit
We went along at Christmas so had a special set five-course tasting menu as their regular menu isn't available over that time. We told them the day before that we would have 50% vegans in our group and they were obviously already prepared to veganise their set menu, which is great. I'm not sure what would happen if you didn't warn them, but their regular menu normally has a few vegan dishes at least. They have vegan beers and wine and are generally conscious of vegan issues. The food was really interesting and creative, sometimes great, sometimes a bit weird, but I'm not complaining!

Lovely place, great concept, tasty food. - Edit
What a lovely idea to cook with saved food. And what they make out of it is really amazing and so tasty! I had a 3 course vegan menu and it was really yum. Also loved the option to donate for homeless to get a meal there. The people working there are really kind and it seems like this place is one of those that makes a positive change in the world. Can highly recommend for a special dining experience!

Delightful and Delicious - Edit
After our 4th visit in 2 weeks while on holidays the staff and dining experience keeps getting better. Staff know their stuff, affordable and not expensive at all. Food mostly plant based and soooo tasty! Staff were so kind they played some Aussie music while we ate and then gave us a bottle of Rose that they don't normally sell direct gratis despite earlier offering to pay. Amazing!! We need more places and businesses that reflect the values, philosophies and approach that Instock has. A big fat 10/10!!

Cons: There aren't any. I'd give 5 stars if HC let

Food waste creations - Edit
The location is convenient in the city centre and we enjoyed the sun on the terrace.
Read moreThe lunch menu had clearly indicated vegetarian options and staff was helpful in pointing out the 3 dishes that could be veganised. We enjoyed the sandwish with vegetable spread and falafel salade. The house made kombucha was delicious and very tasteful.
We liked the concept witg a focus on reducing foodwaste, staff was friendly and food okay.
Cons: limited vegan options but might be , because of the concept

A nice concept, but some flaws - Edit
The shop is very beautiful, when we came in on a Saturday evening there was live music playing. The menu does not have a culinary focus besides using rescued food (they even have beer made from rescued potatoes and bread!). Not too many vegan options and the prices are relatively high considering that it probably rather attracts a more alternative (and thus often younger) audience. I had an "Asian Style Noodle Soup" - the broth is made fresh daily, did not taste too Asian, but the bigger surprise was that the "noodles" were made from zucchini. Certainly should be mentioned on the menu since I expected something more filling for 9€ - this was only like a starter.

Heerlijk eten. We komen hier beslist vaker terug. Gezellig ingericht. Prima smaak.

Vegan options are very good, for me it was a five star experience but non-vegetarian restaurants cannot get five stars, four is also well deserved!

InStock makes the best out of the food that they save. They are incredibly creative with their dishes and have many vegan options. The desert with the banana-mousse was to die for. Homemade kombucha a must!
