Must try the pot stickers. Clean place. Delicious food

This is a smaller restaurant that can sit around 50. It's clean, nicely decorated.
There is a payed parking a couple of min away and also street parking if you are lucky.

I really loved the pot stickers and the Vietnamese fragrant claypot rice. We also tried the lemongrass vegan tofu which was not the best but it was ok and fresh. The dishes were a bit oily but still delicious.

They have a lot of dishes with mock meats and some with textured soy protein, but also some options with veggies and tofu.

Service was fast and friendly.

Will definitely become a favourite in San Francisco. Will be back because we loved it

Pros: Delicious, Fast, All vegan

Cons: no parking, a lot of dishes use mock meats, but they also have

So good, went there two times

The first time I went there was on Saturday evening and it was sooo good. The restaurant was crowded an I had Chinese broccoli with this fancy protein stuff. Then I went there a second time on Tuesday evening. There were just a few people, so it was kind of strange atmosphere and the dish I had (sweet and sour something) wasn't that good like the first time. Because of that one star less. But all in all I really like the place!

Yum!

Best non-dairy Thai iced tea I've had in SF! The food is good, but I'd stick to the Asian dishes as the American plates are below restaurant quality. I definitely bring non-veg friends here for a tasty dinner.

Pros: 100% vegan

love

Service was super fast, and the food was amazing. The only downside is that the lady wasn't that nice but it's ok

They dropped our food on the ground and served it...

I almost never say anything negative about a 100% vegan restaurant, but unfortunately Indochine chose to serve us food that dropped on the floor in view of myself and our whole table, and when asked about it, they asked us what is wrong with that. They even still charged us for it. I'll definitely never eat their again because I can't imagine what is going on in the back if that's what they will do in the front.

Nice restaurant but food just okay

Went to Indochine for the first time about 2 months after their opening. The location is in the busiest part of the mission district, near BART and many bus lines, with metered street parking -- but finding a spot would be hard most times. Inside, the restaurant is quite nice for a casual place. It's a pretty relaxing environment, and the best part is they provide real chopsticks, not the disposable wooden ones. There's seating for around 40.

The service was good, not superb but not problematic either. They seem to have plenty of staff but slightly disorganized. I'm sure they'll continue to figure this out.

For the food, we saw a few really appetizing dishes come out -- stone pot rice, cheesecake. We also saw some other dishes that weren't disgusting but weren't great either -- crispy spring rolls, teriyaki "chicken", chow fun. Those lacked a bit in flavor, presentation, and proper cooking of all the ingredients. So, it seems like some of the menu is worth going back for while other dishes I would not get again. Next time I'll look for something that comes in a stone pot!

In addition to the core pan-asian dishes, they have small Western and Sushi sections on the menu. That definitely seemed strange as there are better restaurants for those down the street; it might serve them well to narrow the focus and spend time refining each of their offerings. Many dishes on the menu were very very similar to some I've seen at other vegan asian restaurants in SF, like Golden Era and Loving Hut.

While not dirt cheap it's definitely affordable, and I'll be back to try other things.

Pros: Nice interior of restaurant, Convenient to public transit, Affordable

Cons: Some dishes not tasty/exciting

Really delicious food

So far I've only been here once, but I hope to go again soon and try more dishes. The bibimbap was huge and came in a stone pot which was a huge plus and which was the first time I've seen that at a non-Korean restaurant. It was so filling and tasty and I had plenty of leftovers.

I'm really glad they opened.

Pros: tasty, huge portions
