We loved the tempeh bacon sandwich and burger. Such a treat to have a range of vegan cakes too - something we’ve not seen in Malaysia during our trip!
Read moreFood was 4 stars but the service was a little unfriendly - after fries were missed off my husbands order the waiter just tried to remove the plate without speaking, in the end he just had the burger without fries. The waiter seemed irritated by having to serve people and just wanted to chat with a table he seemed to know.

This cafe was really close to where I was staying so visited most days. Good food, lovely staff and reasonable prices. About half the menu is vegan and very clearly labeled. Closes at 3pm and all day on Fridays. No vegan cake unfortunately but the waffles were nice and the chocolate ice cream.

Went back here like four times during my stay in Langkawi. Everything was amazing! Loved the scrambled tofu sandwich. The smoothie bowls were also very refreshing. Fresh juices!

Really cool, little place with delicious food, I had the bacon tempeh on sourdough, juice AND a smoothie 😝 reasonably priced and friendly staff, though I was halfway through my food before my juice arrived.

It’s a cracker, make sure you get here if you’re on this side of Langkawi. I’d guess about 80% of the menu is vegan. Vibes are beautiful and staff are amazing.

I enjoyed the most the tempeh wrap, their cakes are very sweet btw so we didn’t get anything because they put too much sugar in it. Burger is a bit hard to eat it honestly but it wasn’t bad!

Not sure why they call it a vegan cafe since they also serve non vegan dishes.
Read moreLocated near Cenang, it’s a place of tranquility where you can relax.
Staff is friendly and service is pretty fast considering everything is freshly made.
This cafe can be closed sometimes with no real explanation so you may have to come back another time.
Food is good and prices are a bit above normal here but still affordable.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff, Location

I sliced my toe open while walking to the main beach and hobbled over to the nearest cafe I could see, the staff ran to my aid and cleaned me up and sorted me out they were so kind! I look around and it’s a vegan cafe ! So we stayed for lunch and had one of our best meals of the whole trip! Thank you so much for your kindness !

This is the sort of tourist vegan cafe you'll find across Asia. Tasty whole food. We ordered the tempeh bacon sandwich, sunshine smoothie, kopi-o and the cinnamon oatmeal. All was good but nothing mind blowing. Recommend if you're in this part of the island.

Weird atmosphere, long wait, okay food - Edit
I don't really have anything good to say about this place. Came here for lunch and ordered two juices, a sandwich and a slice of cake. It took them around 5 and 20 minutes to serve the cake and sandwich (after we received wrong items twice) but 30 (!) more to bring us the juices! We waited 50 minutes for juice!
Read moreAs it was very hot and we had no drinks for a long time we asked one of the waiters for water when he was actually serving water to the table next to us. He seemed to acknowledge the question, then went away and did not return. They didn't check on us once.
Everything would have been excusable if they just would have been busy and nice about it. However the staff were not particularly friendly to us and not busy at all. One of them spent 80% of his time flirting with groups of female customers.
So overall we did not feel welcome and can't recommend the place.
The food was okay, but nothing special and the toast for the sandwich was very dry. The chocolate cake was good.

I recently visited Indiana Vegan Cafe & Yoga with friends and had a disappointing experience. While the food was great, the service was subpar. Our server, a local gentleman with long hair, seemed annoyed when we asked questions.
Read moreOn our second visit, we were seated at a small table despite larger ones being available. The manager, who appeared to be an international staff member, kindly assisted us. However, our orders were delayed, and we didn't receive all our food despite waiting until 1 PM. When we inquired about the delay, the staff responded rudely.
Unfortunately, the situation escalated, and we were asked to pay for unordered food. The staff's behavior was unacceptable, and we left feeling disrespected.
While I appreciate the foreign manager's apology, our experience was marred by poor service and unacceptable behavior from the staff. I would caution potential customers, particularly those from diverse backgrounds, to be aware of these issues.
I read few other reviews citing this kind of Racism by the servers of the place.

Everything about Indiana Langkowi is utterly amazing. From the attentive service and warm welcome to the relaxing cosy, cool environment. The range of food is diverse with lots I'd breakfast style options to delicious burgers and salads. I highly recommend the home brewed kombuch too.

Tolles restautant mit gutem Essen und sehr nettem Personal - Edit
Wir waren hier mehrmals und werden auch noch öfter herkommen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und auch die Getränke. Das Personal ist super nett, macht super Service (der beste in ganz Malaysia) und ist auch hilfreich wenn man mal nicht weiß was man machen will. Ein richtiger Wohlfühlort mit gutem Essen und süßen Katzen.

Delicious Vegan options and cute cats - Edit
Three of my party ordered the sweet potato and cinnamon sandwich, but unfortunately the order was messed up in the kitchen and we got wraps instead. Despite this mishap, the food was delicious. I also had the apple and cinnamon waffles for dessert, and took away a hazelnut chocolate bun and seed bar baked goods to take to the airport with me, which were fantastic, too.

Indiana serves vegan and vegetarian food. All is delicious, and reasonably priced. They also have a cabinet of vegan baked goods, including pastries and cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful, if you are in the area go and check it out!
