"special" treatment? - Edit
Ordered two vegan tacos online. My first time trying the place. When I ran in to pick them up, I gave my name as you do anywhere when picking up something you paid (and pre-tipped) for. The person at the hostess station was about to hand me my order then asked me to show ID. For a $7 order. What if I'd run in there without?

Great a la carte options for Mexican food - Edit
Higher end Mexican food I've had, their chips are legit and hold up well. I got the chips and salsa flight, which includes their regular, verde, and chipotle salsa. Husband got their vegan carnitas nachos, though he likes the other foods we got more. They sometimes have a vegan taco weekly special. Would go back to try their other tacos and drinks 😋Their elote was delicious too!
Read moreBig fan of the veggie sonoran hot dog made vegan, though they had to replace it for me when I noticed some queso fresco on my original one which they made a new one without it, so be careful with that. Server was very attentive though and acted quick.

Waited extremely long for our entrees. If you come to drink and waist time then this is the place to be. Nachos w/ salsa and guacamole was ok. TheVegan taco that i chose off the menu was not good, presentation terrible for the price.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
I love all the vegan options here, I always get the tacos, chips and vegan chorizo and their vegan hot dog. They are reasonably priced too. Only drawback is it gets crowded and the parking situation can be tough, but the food is delicious and worth it.

Everything I've had from imperial is delicious and usually reasonably priced. I've tried an assortment of their vegan options and they're so yummy l gotta veg out. I almost always get the veganized senoran and a taco (usually 1 of their specials). Cant 5 star only cuz they serve meat & yeah, most times it's pretty loud and crowded there. I recommend sitting at the bar or patio, it's much easier to hold a conversation in those spots.

I love the Creative vegan tacos that Imperial serves. They also have vegetarian options that they can make vegan by not putting any cheese on them. My favorite vegan taco was the barbeque carrot and they have had vegan tacos with jackfruit, cauliflower, potatoes...
Read moreThis is an energetic restaurant with a lively atmosphere. I LOVE sitting outside and for cooler evenings they have blankets so you can remain seated outdoors. GREAT cocktails!!! Delicious salsas and creative hot sauces.

Loud & Crowded, good salsa though - Edit
They have weekly vegetarian/vegan tacos, which have been good (if not terribly exciting) every time I've tried them. The smartdog is a smartdog, but they dress it up alright. The various salsas are great, as is their drink selection.
Read moreBased on food alone, I would probably give this place 3 or 4 stars, but for me this is one of the least pleasant places to eat in the metro area. No matter what day or time I've been there, it's always been packed, and you have to sit at long community tables with a bunch of other people shouting to be heard (which isn't my jam). Also, I've never been there without a member of the staff being super rude to my party right off the bat. I'm sure they're stressed out, so I try not to fault them for it (I think maybe the restaurant itself is poorly designed in terms of flow and efficiency), but it's still not something I like going through.
If you don't mind noise, or crowds, or flustered hosts, this place is probably great, but otherwise this might not be your scene.
Pros: Good Food, Good drink selection
Cons: Usually packed, Rude Waitstaff, Unpleasant dining space

Always have vega/vegetarian tacos options. Salsa and guacamole are delicious! Great creative drinks. Try the habanero infused tequila if you like it spicy! Very busy place eso on weekends so be prepared to wait for a table.
