This was actually our 2nd choice, but 1st choice wouldn't answer phone to ask questions about gluten free items. So glad we ended up here!! 1st off, I made a mistake and accidentally ordered an item I thought was GF, but it was not. They were super nice about changing my order at the last minute. Everything was great, they have an awesome dessert case where more than 1/2 the items were GF. I had real Southern Banana Pudding for the first time out in years. We can't wait to go back.

Wow! My taste buds are dancing! You MUST get their BBQ sandwich and mac-n-cheese. . .the best creamy mac-n-cheese ever!! The BBQ had a wonderful rib-like texture. The sauce was perfect, sweet with a hint of smokiness. This is a must-have if you are anywhere near Memphis. Friendly, helpful staff, too!

Two families, my lifelong vegan kids, wife and me plus my omni sister's family, all loved it. The only con is it's hard to choose from all the great options. I had the chicken cheese steak, wife had buffalo chicken, 12yo had chili cheese fries, 10yo had chicken and waffles, 7yo had dogs in a blanket. My sister had the BBQ sandwich. All excellent (I tried everything). Big portions. Her toddlers also enjoyed the toys there. Friendly service, too. Oh, and we got dessert to go.

We make it a point to stop here whenever we are in Memphis. Food is always amazing, huge portions and friendly service! They have a great menu and there is definitely something for everyone. The Buffalo sandwich and the Reuben are great! I love the Memphis slam for brunch and their shrimp po’ boy is tasty. Good milkshakes and always a variety of desserts. Good GF options available as well. Highly recommend.

Amazing ‼️🌱 - Edit
We drove from Florida to see Graceland. We loved Imagine so much we ate there twice & should have gone a third time‼️ Adorable up & coming neighborhood (like downtown St.Petersburg 25 years ago). Free parking. Great cute shops nearby. A toy 🧸 store & a comic book shop & a record store.

I was passing through Memphis and tried this place on a whim. I’m very glad I did. It was so delicious and I ate so much that I wanted to bust. Everything is vegan which is a plus. I had a milkshake, bbq sandwich, fries, cheese sticks, and beans. I will definitely eat here again next time I’m in town. As a bonus, there is an awesome record store and a comic shop close by.

I will go to Imagine occasionally. It presents as a wholesome casual dining experience, but it's overpriced and uses little in the way of whole foods. Mock meats and cheeses dominate the menu.

Great menu and the prices are not bad. I'm not really with the rustic ambiance but it is what it is. They will make you hurt yourself with their desserts. They put them right in front of you where you order.
Read moreMy post pandemic visit to Memphis found this restaurant reopened. I ordered the chicken and waffle which was delicious came back and ordered it again. But I had also ordered desserts and was very disappointed. The strawberry shortcake didn't have cake crumbs instead and the banana pudding didn't have cookies. That didn't work for me. And to top things off the server I had left a lot to be desired.
Okay, went back again for the chicken and waffles. This time I looked at the ingredients for the syrup and there's high fructose corn syrup in it. So I opp for the jam...same thing. I was told the owner said their reason for the restaurant wasn't health but animal cruelty. This makes me question all ingredients used here because I'm into health as well as animal cruelty. The hefty fifteen percent takeout charge seems much to me.

The food here is just awesome and abundant. No thrills but amazing flavour. It would be great to be able to have maybe even one salad as well on the menu, just for healthier choices, but the food they have is really delicious.

There were so many delicious options here it was hard to choose. The Bbq sandwich special really was fantastic. Pigs in a blanket were eaten even by our non-vegan. Prompt courteous service too. Reasonable prices, especially given the quantity of food. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Memphis!

This place is awesome! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is friendly. I recommend the Memphis BBQ plate and the appetizer sampler- both were awesome! Lots of desserts and a huge menu. Only thing is that I bought 2 shirts and a dessert to go after I already paid for my meal and there was still a $7 service charge added

My family just completed a cross country road trip where we tried to eat at as many vegetarian restaurants as we could and the family voted Imagine #1 in the country! I am a lifelong vegetarian and I am proud to say Imagine's Memphis BBQ sandwich was the best thing I ate on our entire trip. It was incredible. All the food we ordered was delicious. Love the neighborhood the restaurant is in.

we're visiting Memphis from Nashville. we stopped in here for a quick bite to eat not knowing what to expect. cute store front. we sat down and dined in. wonderful service! i got the double cheese burger and my partner got the BBQ platter (with mac n cheese instead of beans). SO GOOD!! i wasnt personally a fan of the chocolate milkshake, but the berry smoothie was bomb. i will be talking about this place all the way back home
