Nice,small restaurant. We ate very well. The sir that has the restaurant was very nice and polite. Our son is not vegan, but he ate all vegan ,was impressed and liked it 👍. We were very happy to find this restaurant!

Everything we ordered was freshly made, very tasty and savoury. The prices are very fair, especially for being in the very centre of Florencd. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back next time I visit my family!

I am so glad there is an all vegan restaurant in Florence. It is so nice to have more than a cheese-less pizza or tomato bruschetta. There are so many Italian options. This restaurant was good, but I felt they could work on the seasoning a bit more.

The best vegan experience in Florence. The food was delicious -- definitely try the lasagna and tiramisu! The service was only ok, but it's a casual place and the food is the main attraction!! Was busy even on a Wednesday evening so recommend getting there early. Totally worth it!! And very affordable!!

During my stay in Firenze I went here two times. On the photo you see the porcini risotto I took one of the times. From the other dishes I forgot to take photo's cause I was hungry. But believe me, they were good.

We where there ten minutes before it opened, not planned. It was amazing, there where 10 other people waiting with us to get in.

The owner was great, very calm and friendly.
We tried the pasta with pesto, lasagne and a panini. It was very delicious! I wish we could get a second plate :D
The panini had a little bit too much BBQ-Sauce.
The room could be a more cozy, but the food was great and is really cheap.

The shitake mushroom risotto was excellent and we'll portioned for my sized appetite. The red wine by the glass is good for the inexpensive price, but the vegan tiramisu is quite possibly the best I've ever had...not overly sweet and a great balance to the bittersweet chocolate powder.

While the taste of the food was great, the appearance (like the decor) was less than impressive. With great food, there is such great potential, but the appearance of everything should match that quality.

Thank you very much for enjoying our food. I don't agree with the furniture thing though. We are a place where people come to eat, not to make "art visits". We focus on substance and not on appearance. Either way, our simple, rustic décor reflect our vegan bistro simplicity. We are not interested in being super trendy!

A wide array of choices from drinks to Italian and American cuisine as well as delicious cakes. I enjoy everything here, and the lasagna is the best I’ve ever tasted. A must go for vegan food! Also has lovely indoor and outdoor seating.

As vegan one misses out on eating traditional foods a lot of times. Not in Florence. Il Vegano‘s got you covered. 👏 I agree with the previous review that their could have been more filling in the lasagna, but still it tasted really well. The organic beer was one of the best I tasted and the tiramisu was different from what I expected (no taste of coffee or alcohol) but still splendid. I would come back for sure!
