The spaghetti with marinara is really good, focaccia was also good & omg the biscuits!!! So glad they are vegan- they are like a sable cookie, very large, 3.50 euros each, they have 3 different fillings: apricot, raspberry, chocolate. The waitress kept saying the ravioli and pesto was vegan but then when I asked what the ravioli is filled with , she said cheese. Clearly they don’t know what vegan is, the menu has labeled vegetarian options, not vegan.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have bothered listing this place if there were lots of options around, but as it stands Riomaggiore is not great for vegans, so the fact they have soya milk and a vegan option on menu is possibly worth knowing! I just came for breakfast so i don't know about other meals. The vegan "cake" was actually more like a couple of biscuits sandwiched together with jam (think giant jammie dodger) with seeds sprinkled on top... it was fine but nothing to write home about!

Don’t expect anything mind blowing here. There are a couple vegan options like bruschetta classico and pizza with the cheese left off, but not much in terms of truly vegan food. There are more vegetarian options (the fresh pasta has egg in it). The café offers coffee with soy milk (unique for the area) and a tasty vegan cookie with blueberry or chocolate filling.
