Little place for coffee, pastries, juices, granola bowls with yogurt, and milkshakes. Plant milks available. As of Mar 2018 pastries are all-vegan. Previously at Haarlemmerstraat 181. Food is all vegan but cow's milk is offered for drinks. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-17:00, Sat-Sun 09:00-17:00.

This place is great, I wasn’t very enthusiastic going to a place listed as vegetarian, but turns out they are almost vegan! (What’s up with the cow’s milk for coffee?). Literally all of the food they sell is vegan, they even have great Dutch classics, such as boterkoek. I tried boterkoek and mergpijp and both were amazing. Mergpijpjes were one of my favourite foods as a kid, so happy I could try them again and definitely tastes like I remember. The crowd here also seems nice and it isn’t your average Dutch coffee place. Can’t wait to try more of their baked goods.

My favorite coffee place in Leiden. As a French person, I am so happy I can get vegan croissant and pain au chocolat there. The staff is friendly, the tea and coffee is delicious and the pastries are great

Unfortunately only vegetarian as cow's milk is offered with the coffee. The food is all vegan. The cheese and ham croissant was delicious, but there wasn't much ham. The pain au chocolat was delicious.

Hello, This is a valid question actully. We have a variety of plant based milk (Oats, Soy, Almond or Coconut) available but we do also have dairy milk. We choose to also have dairy milk so we can try and turn those people too. If you dont get those people in you are definitely not making them think is our filosphy. Changing the world one person at the time.

De cappuccino met havermelk was heel lekker en de warme chocolademelk ook. Lekkere vegan slagroom. Ook het gebak was lekker (oreo brownie en appeltaart), vandaag waren ze helaas vergeten om suiker in de appeltaart te doen, maar het smaakte nog steeds wel prima.

Had a tasty pain au chocolat here recently. Got an Oreo brownie too but didn’t enjoy this as much- it had a strange cinnamon taste. I think the prices are reasonable and it’s nice to have somewhere to get vegan sweet treats in Leiden. Overall would recommend😄

Read moreA very short walk from the Burcht ( oldest surviving castle in Leiden) so be sure to stop by when touring. I had a great chocolate filled pastry with a cappuccino. Service was good and very pleasant atmosphere. Keep an eye open as they don’t have a sign post.
