Read moreUnd ich kann nur sagen: ich liebe die Sorte Likkers und sonst gibt auch andere tolle Sorten, die regelmäßig wechseln und total spannend und besonders sind. Kokossahne ist auch echt mega! Generell mega vegane Auswahl.
Ich finde nur die Hafermilch in den Cappuccinos nicht so geil und dass man 20 Cent extra dafür bezahlen muss. Das ist was die Heiße Schokolade auch wahrscheinlich eher meh vom Geschmack macht.
Insgesamt ist es aber ein richtig toller laden, geiles Konzept.
Das Eis ist zwar teuer, aber auch echt gut! Ein muss zumindest es mal zu probieren. Ich hoffe die machen mal die eissorte salzige Pistazie auch in vegan.:(
Pros: Lecker!, Vegane und besondere Auswahl, Auch im Winter geöffnet
Cons: Teuer, Heißen Kirschen eher lauwarm, Hafermilch kostet extra

Diverse vegane Eissorten im Angebot, sowie vegane Toppings und Sahne. Auch Eissorten ohne Industriezucker und außergewöhnlichen Geschmacksrichtungen. Man kann Getränke mit Soja und Hafermilch bestellen. Der Waffel Teig ist grundsätzlich vegan.

To be honest, I wasn't too keen on the variety of savoury vegan foods they offer here (2 vegan wraps, a chili sin carne and a lentil soup), but have to admit I am so glad I checked out this place! The vegan waffle was heavenly and the chili sin carne, which I thought to be a very ordinary dish to be sold, was a solid 10/10, hands down. My take-away portion seemed very generous as well, they included a small pot of bread and a handwritten thank you note. Additional points for the zero-plastic packaging and the very exclusive products they have, like coffee beans from Teikei and Japanese matcha. At first I thought of their concept to be quite random, but the store is actually run by very ethical and conscious people.

Read moreThe heart of the I Am Love is the self-made ice cream, with flavours changing from day to day and usually about half of the flavours offered being vegan. The best part is, that there are not only fresh fruity ice creams and sorbets, but also vegan creamy flavours, such as vanilla, chocolate, snickers-styled, and nutty flavours. You can check the website for the current flavours they offer and filter for vegan options! The price for one scoop of ice cream is between 1,20€ and 1,60€. You can top the ice cream you choose with fruits, caramelised nuts, coconut, vegan coconut whipped cream and more.
One of my favourite sweet dishes in the entire city is the vegan waffles! They are super soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside - perfect! I enjoy them the most with vegan ice cream, whipped cream and warm cherries.
They also offer savoury vegan snacks, such as paninis and chilli sin carne with soy, as well as changing seasonal dishes, currently (Jan 2020) vegan apple crumble ice cream bowl, warm vegan brownie, and roasted apple (German: Bratapfel). The current menu (in German) is available on their website.
The restaurant also tries to incorporate sustainable and fair ingredients, for example, their coffee is sourced from organic, fair agricultural cooperatives in Mexico and is shipped to Europe by sailing boat to lower carbon footprint. For milk in your coffee, you can choose between soy, oat and almond milk. They also offer tea, tumeric latte, cold brew, matcha, chai lattes, as well as cold organic drinks.
The only downside is, that I have to agree with the other reviews on seating and service. The outside seating is limited due to spacing and in summer it will be difficult to find a seat in the afternoon and on weekends. For ice cream to-go you may have to wait in line for some time. The service is mostly very friendly and nice, but not the best organised / professional. Sometimes it took time until they attended me, they were not always the best when it comes to service and more than once they forgot an order. It fits the chill, easy-going and laid-back atmosphere of the café, but may annoy you if you expect trained professional service.
Totally recommend for a relaxed time with friends and family or an ice-cream to go!!

Its a really nice place with lots of seatings available, inside aswell as outside. There are always many vegan options available. And the staff is nice and friendly. They offer always seasonal dishes. Only the vegan cream is not my favorite but thats just a little thing.

This place is a must-go but that’s exactly why it’s mostly overrun. The (vegan) ice cream options variate from day to day. On sunny days and Sundays it’s almost impossible to get a seat. They offer vegan coconut cream but it always turns out disappointing: no flavor or poor consistence, so skip the cream. The staff is mixed: mostly they’re extremely friendly and welcoming but I also made some bad experiences, like negative comments or waiting up to 45 minutes to get attended. I recommend the snikkers and hazlenut ice cream. They also offer sandwiches, smoothies and snacks like chili sin carne or German (veggie) Currywurst.

Read moreThe Icecream is truely the best I´ve ever had. As a vegan you can not miss Hazelnut, Chocolate Sorbet, Lickers (Peanut Icecream with Caramell and Chocolate), Blueberry Sorbet and Rasberry-Mint Sorbet!!
Besides the Icecream they always have some tastefull vegan cake and you have to check out the waffles!
When you are not in the mood for sweet stuff there is always some great salad (potato/pasta/gnocci), awesome paninis and soup!
The ambience is comfortable and cosy.
Usually every wednesday the owner offers a great yoga class!
