The food is really good, but it's too much effort to get it - Edit
I was there many times and it was one of my favourites for a long time, but the last 2-3 experiences were really not good. I still love the food and how many vegan options they have. I also love the desserts. So why minus 2 stars? It's always a huge effort to even get a table. You always have to call, often they don't even pick up. The last two times I was there, the staff just forgot about us and not only about us..about many others as well. - like there were people waiting at the table probably up to 2 hours or so. We waited over 1 hour without even our Vorspeise and we had a reservation, it's impossible without. It's okay to forget one time, but 2 times in a row and my friend had a similar experience recently. After that the kitchen was closed even though I wanted a dessert - I love 'Blumenerde'. But the worst happened after that: When we wanted to pay one of the waiters said that they're very sorry - I said of course, that it's okay and can happen. But then another waiter interrupted and said that we were lucky, because the others waited even longer and that she should apologise to us. What?! That's so disrespectful. My partner and I were shocked, so we didn't say anything and just went. It's so sad about the tasty food and I don't know if I should ever give it a try again or just leave it...

Read moreAwesome burgers which can all be served vegan (with their own patty or beyond meat). But also great vegan options like Currywurst and Gyros, as well as many vegan sauce options.
They also have an assortment of beers (several on tap!), cocktails, etc., which makes them a good all-evening hangout space - especially if you are in a mixed vegan/non-vegan group.

The vegan Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) was sooo delicious, you HAVE TO try it! Heaven! The vegan cheeseburger was amazing as well. And they also have very good white wine (we had the Riesling). If you are In Bochum, go to Blondies!

everything we tried so far tasted really good, we always get the homemade aioli with bread. they offer different typed of vegan patties u can choose from and also vegan cheese alternatives. u can also get a vegan oreo milkshake and a variety of vegan desserts.

Bochums bestes Restaurant. Bietet vom Taxiteller, zur Currywurst, zu himmlischen Salaten, Dipps, Pommes, Satespießen und Burgern zu köstlichen Milchshakes und Nachtischen ein starkes veganes Angebot. Unbedingt hingehen. Am besten vorher reservieren.

The only burgers you need - Edit
In times where you can get some sort of vegan burger literally everywhere, the bar for a really good one became quite high. And Blondies raised that bar themselves a lot, and did so long before burgers became the hippest thing in town. Every one of the countless burger variations is available as vegetarian and most of them as vegan version, and I never had a bad or just okay one - they‘re always exceptionally great. And of course the fries, deserts and drinks are good as well. Forget all the chains and big companies pushing into this segment, Blondies is the only burger joint you need.

Wir waren zu dritt und hatten jeder eine Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch. Meine Begleiter haben sich teilweise am veganen Angebot versucht. Ich als Veganerin hatte sehr viel Auswahl. Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen verdammt lecker. Werde dort auf jeden Fall wieder Essen 😊

Das Blondies hat die besten veganen Patties und damit auch die besten Burger. Es gibt keine Variation die nicht schmeckt. Auch Pommes, Gyros oder Salate sind echte Leckerbissen. Dazu ein leckeres Bier und Limo.

Read moreIf you order a burger you get a really tasty one but no fries or anything on the side. That's a pretty small portion for a proud price. But overall it is a really nice place to go to. It just needs a little perfection!

Die besten Burger, die ich je gegessen habe! Mein Favorit ist der "Vampire's Fear Burger". Die "Schicken"-Streifen vom Schicken-Salat mit Sweet Mustard Dressing sind einfach unnachahmlich gut. Pommes Spezial mit veganer Mayo vom Feinsten. Zum Nachtisch heißen Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis, dazu Capuccino und das aĺles vegan. Nette Bedienung, entspannte Atmosphäre, alles prima. Das Blondies ist seit einigen Jahren unser absolutes Lieblings-Restaurant.

Great food, drink and atmosphere - Edit
I have been a regular Blondies customer for over 3 years. The selection of regular and unconventional burgers is amazing and the taste is always on point. They also have a large selection of salads, sauces and sides. Everyone's taste buds are catered for. Tuesdays is pizza day and Wednesday they have a huge vegan gyros plate. The beer, soft drink, cocktail, mocktail, milkshake and spirit selection is second to none. I really value their ethical choices and that they support small local business and boycott brands such as Nestle and Coca-Cola. Blondies is perfect for date night, a night out with your friends, for families and work events. It's a egreat place because all dietary needs are catered for! The staff are really sound and you can have a laugh with them. On sunny days you can also make use of their back garden. I would recommend booking a table though, as the place is sometimes jam-packed! Prices are super okay, especially considering that the majority of the ingredients are organic and locally sourced.
