Awesome Find - Edit
The best pub food around. All vegetarian menu. Vegan items too or they will veganize it. Amazing beers!! Knowledgeable bartender. I didn’t go here for the longest because I saw the name “Hunters” and assumed it’d be some redneck cesspool with dead animal heads on the wall. Who calls a vegetarian place “Hunters”? Maybe it’s to trick the hunters and convert them lol. Idk but I’m a fan now! UPDATE: It’s called Hunter’s after the owner’s dog who’s name is Hunter! Hunter’s picture is at the bar. : )

Lol! ...see your point about the name, but apparently the former owners 🐕, a yellow Labrador, was Hunter 😄

Loved it - Edit
There were amazing vegan options. The staff was insanely friendly, the food was yummy & the beer selection INCREDIBLE. Go hangout with the lovely bar staff and enjoy some drinks and food. I had the hummus plate and hubby had the vegan grilled cheese. 10/10 🌞

Still vegan-friendly - Edit
Still an island of vegan friendliness in a not-so-vegan landscape.
Read moreThe online menu seems sparse, but there are specials in-house. The grilled cheese was amazing, with hints of rosemary. Jackfruit tacos were on the specials, and my son couldn't stop raving about them, despite us occasionally making them at home.
Quaint little place with live music if you're ever in the area (Indiana Dunes nearby).
Pros: Live music, Great food, Good beer
Cons: Limited space

Really Enjoyed! - Edit
We shared the Vegan: warm soft pretzel with mustard, garlic hummus plate, tomato bean soup, and the grilled cheese. Everything was delicious.
Read moreI typically don't get vegan cheese, but was glad I tried it. Really good sandwich with the grain bread, vegan pesto and smoky cheese flavor. The tomato soup has a hearty tomato base.
The place is small, but in warmer seasons they also have the outdoor patio that adds seating.
Good food, great service, nice locals, several glasses of good beer and Jenga. We'll be back!!
Pros: Several vegan options, Everything delicious, Reasonable priced
Cons: Closes at 9pm on Fri & Sat

Limited Vegan food options - Edit
After a change of ownership, they have transitioned away from 100% vegan, but seem to have a few vegan options.

It was ok? - Edit
I dont know if maybe its because I'm from area with so many vegan options but reading all these rave reviews I was SO EXCITED to eat here. But I left kinda disappointed. I spent $40 on lunch for just myself. Which I normally dont mind, as vegan food can be hard to find. What I got was a "tblt" or the tofu bacon lettuce and tomato. The flavor was there, i got it on a bed of lettuce instead of the wrap, and maybe i set myself up for disappointment but, $11 for 2 skinny strips of tofu and 2 tomato slices just wasnt it for me lol
Read moreI also got the apricot mustard with pretzels which was a tiny togo cup of mustard and a ziplock bag of pretzels
And the "vegan cheese platter" was 1 small chunk of cheese, a bunch of grapes and some crackers.
I think between the limited menu and the amount of money I spent on what I thought would be lunch and then snacks for my drive home but turned out still being hungry i am not very happy with my experience. $40 to still be hungry is not a vibe.
I gave 3 stars because the food was delicious. It was just way too expensive for very very little
Pros: The flavor is good
Cons: Expensive, Limited menu , Small servings

Delicious fresh salsa - Edit
We dined inside although they do have outdoor seating. The atmosphere is the typical brew pub with a delightfully surprising vegan menu. Our server was hard working and professional. He was genuinely proud of the food being served which lets me know it’s going to be good quality. We started off with chips and salsa. The salsa was fantastic. We shared the meatball plate and we shared the sesame peanut noodles. The noodles came in a generous portion and included some veggies. The meatball plate was rather strange. It was served on a bed of lettuce with 5 small meatballs. The noodles were very good and the meatballs were ok. Overall, this was a good dining experience with interesting, fresh vegan options.

Amazing artisanal vegan food! - Edit
Great, nondescript completely vegan brew pub! We talked to one of the owners who explained to us that all the food is prepared to order. They make their own breads, cheeses, black bean patties, etc from scratch. The chef (and co-owner) works hard to create unique, flavorful combinations with a rotating menu that changes every week. We had the caprese crostini and blackbean wrap which was full of wonderful flavor combinations. Although we didn't get to try everything, from the descriptions and from talking to the co-owner, I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any choice. The beer was great too!

Sturdy, but narrow, selection - Edit
I'm so thrilled there's a fully vegan spot near the Indiana Dunes National Park! It's in a strange location near some self-storage units, but the Buffalo Cauliflower wrap and Quesadilla were both top notch. Affordable food, as well, and a great indulgence after hiking the dunes.
Read moreThe only downside is a narrow menu, but it's a small spot. Maybe they usually have a few more items on the menu in non-pandemic times.
Pros: Fully vegan in a surprising spot!, Good prices
Cons: Limited menu

We tried the Lemon soup and nachos. The soup was zesty with a kick of dill. The nachos had a tasty cheese sauce. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Awesome beer and drink selections. Creative vegan food. Healthy nut foods. No deep frying. Even if you’re not vegan, you will enjoy. No animal flesh was on the menu but cheese was.

Small mom-and-pop brewpub with good rotating vegan and vegan-option vegetarian items with great beer to boot. Casual, groovy, relaxed atmosphere: explicitly designed NOT to be a sports bar.

Several Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
My wife and I were passing through the area and came here for dinner not sure what to expect. Unfortunately they were out of the black bean burgers, but we had the chili and hummus app and everything was incredible. Flavors were spot on and everything was clearly as fresh as possible. Neither of us tried the beer but they seemed to know what they were doing on that front as well.

Decent vegan burger - Edit
My boyfriend and I visited this place on a trip to the Dunes. We only tried a couple of the beers and they were good.
Read moreThe menu has a lot of cheese but a few vegan appetizers. We both had the vegan black bean burger with fries. It was pretty big and I saved half to eat later. It was good but a little dry, could have used some more sauce.
This wouldn't be my first choice for dinner but it's a great option, especially if you like beer.
Pros: All vegetarian kitchen with vegan options
Cons: A lot of cheese offered.
